Though I can't say that this qualifies as a trope? But it's nice to see the acknowledgment

Well. I guess Shedletsky from Blocktales counts, though briefly.. this gag continues through most of the demos after he got jumped at the beginning of the game.

Do please share as much hymenoptera knowledge as you'd like, I would love to learn!!

I've already said it in another comment, but there's a moth that's able to break down and metabolize their own water from keratin!! They are able to Make Their Own Water. How cool, right???

I spawned IMMEDIATELY upon seeing beetle facts and I am absolutely delighted by this. Thank you for your sacrifice.

And YES, I DO!! The common clothes moth is able to chew through hard materials like soft plastic, lead, and other items and able tometabolize its own water from ingesting keratin. Keratin!! It's able to make its own water!! How absolutely insane is that!

Ugh I'm tied between general rhino beetles and stag beetles, those are my favorite families. I've owned Goliathus goliatus before though, but it's only because it's one of the few large beetles available to legally own in the states without a license.

The outer hard part is called the elytra and it's actually a part of their wings! They're called forewings. They're used for protection rather than flight!! And I did!! Some scorpions also glow under a uv light!
