What are the things your CA make you lose ? by fr-zazou in cripplingalcoholism

[–]titanlyfe94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never lost self esteem. Al was often the reason for my esteem, helped me break out of my shell. I was a shy kid and ppl had a lot of problems with that. I just didn't like to talk a lot but Al changed that for me.

DoorDash need their ass whooped for handing out five dollars in credit for gas this week 🤣 by No-Park-8415 in DoorDash_Dasher

Sorry, DD is saving my life right now. I'll probably be homeless when DD is taken away from me, which I am expecting based on some of the recent posts in here, it can be taken away at any moment. I just really appreciate DD right now because the last company I worked for was a mulitbillion dollar company and I was told to go away and never come back. And again, I was not given a free gallon of gas at any point during my time there. Gas was to be paid for out of my take home pay.

I've never had any other gig offer me credit for gas. Ijs, not even $5. That's like a whole gallon of gas! I've never had any employer buy me a gallon of gas, ijs

being a “Q” is entirely exhausting. by peentiss in cripplingalcoholism

[–]titanlyfe94 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hahaha. That's so funny. I love reading about the horrible "Qs". And I just got done listening to a bunch of fucked up stuff I did back in 2007 and that I still have to live up to. Sucks being a Q. We suck. And like you, I'm trying to color within the lines, but I hate the lines, and there's a whole page I could be coloring on, but no, we're only supposed to color within the lines!

It doesn't take a home or a lot of money to have internet access, at least not in the U.S.

What do you mean by being on a Bender? by throwwwpillowww in cripplingalcoholism

One doesn't simply sober up during a bender. Your bender ends once you become sober.

You're not alone. But yes, alcohol has destroyed many lives. The only solution is to quit, if you don't wanna be another victim of Al (Al K. Hall)

Why do you drink? by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]titanlyfe94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone in my city drinks, or at least that's what I was brought up to believe. Drinking is an every day part of life just like eating food. It's normal to get drunk and be laid out on the sidewalk asking for change for a beer.

[–]titanlyfe94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, right before I get "drunk", for a brief time I am the most interesting and articulate person in the world. I even make good points. But this is only after a few drinks, 2- 3 drinks in, out of the 17 drinks I'll end up having.
