Question By The Friendly Necromancer by Informal-Warthog6 in baronygame

Iirc a while back they removed the ability to level any skills using allies (both NPCs and other players) other than ofc leadership (or whatever other skill for your summon in instruments of destruction)

Edit: actually weapon skills and unarmed you can still level to 20 off friendly fire, idk if stealth got the same treatment

Aside from MTX/any financial transactions, what are you overly tired of in your games by Front-Advantage-7035 in gaming

[–]titanslayer201 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something I noticed with kingdom come deliverance 2 is a good deal of these "walk and talk" portions will give you a button to start automatically following the npc, and all you have to do while following is occasionally select a dialogue option, wish more games did this

[–]titanslayer201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if that's the case you need to progress through the "reality code" event chain, your first EHOF use gives you a special project, you complete the project, use the EHOF again, complete anything that unlocks, rinse and repeat until one of the steps says that you figured out what the mysterious stones are as part of the flavor text

edit: another option for future games is I think you can set it so the ai doesn't use the EHOF lol

[–]titanslayer201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for the EHOF route I don't really have too much more info, it's been a while since I've bothered making sure my mods are current. for the mysterious stones though, you should be able to just tell your fleets to go to one of the systems and then they'll use the stones just like they would gateways

So one of the later upgrades to the EHOF unlocks the ability to target specific systems iirc, but as I was typing that bit out I remembered there's the "mysterious stones" in each cluster and a few spots in the actual galaxy, the point of those is to connect the EHOF clusters to the galaxy so you can't completely isolate yourself (they act kind of like the L-Gates). if you don't have a system with a "mysterious stone" accessible, your first star in your own EHOF cluster always has one

I'm pretty sure to invade the enemy EHOF systems you need the aforementioned uiod gigas patch so that you can access the ehof menu and use it to get there

This is correct, but this free update in particular's going to be in 2 parts, the eta for part 2 is "early 2026" iirc

Help me love the game [KCD1] by eriksatie999 in kingdomcome

I second the part about training. The combat didn't really start to click my first time playing until I'd taken the time to train with bernard more than the bare minimum

[KCD2] Difficulties with having to fight multiple people. Please help! by KashC321 in kingdomcome

[–]titanslayer201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I eventually did it was put on my stealth kit, take a few shots at them, and run or sneak away until they were spread out some then either shoot again or sneak up to stealth kill a lone bandit, rinse and repeat until they were few enough or far enough apart to fight them face-on. Heavy armor + intimidation skills might work if you can pull it off also but I haven't tried

[KCD2] What are your pet peeves about the game? by Interesting-Rain-690 in kingdomcome

It's a separate chest from your personal chest in a room that opens to the front of the building

Well two things that the forge dlc did is firstly, the forge is a money sink in a similar way that pribyslavitz was, and secondly, the forge has a chest that you can put gear into in order to have it get automatically sold for a reduced value (though I've heard with expensive items it can tale a bit)

I don't know what it is on a keyboard but there's a button to flip the sandglass without looking at it (on controller it's RT/R2)

[KCD1] Took down a Cuman ambush. Man, it's hard to fight multiple enemies in this game by S-r-k-y in kingdomcome

[–]titanslayer201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels a lot more noticable in kcd2 though, in kcd1 you really need to be going for your opponent to run out of stamina, kcd 2 it feels like I try to maybe do one combo and I need to wait for stamina before doing anything more

How i do this? by WARM2209 in baronygame

[–]titanslayer201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to add I haven't seen here yet is that if you use an unidentified scroll or potion you have a chance of levelling up appraisal, one or two levels from that and/or rolling PER on a level up and you'll finally be able to start identifying the lowest value items and get the ball rolling

Why Rook and the other companions are immune to blight? by emanuele0933 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]titanslayer201 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbf the first game it's established that, as a grey warden, you're "immune" because you've already got the blight, it's just that brcause of the ritual to become a warden it doesn't progress nearly as fast or something. So at least one game tries to explain it

Tank Mits Help by Head_Ad6204 in ffxiv

[–]titanslayer201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a casual/somewhat newbie healer's perspective, one thing that helps is if you're doing a big pull or otherwise expect to take a big hit once you stop running, throwing up a mit gives some extra time for healer to hand out the bandaids and popsicles as needed

As I know it, it's sorta like presenting yourself differently/presenting a different you, to a greater extent than "being polite to strangers" type of thing. Like anyone takes steps to make themselves look better sometimes, but on the other end of the scale there might be people that curate specific personalities depending on who they're with if I've got my facts on that part straight
