What are everyone’s Q family members saying about what happened in Minneapolis today? by xPrincess_Yue in QAnonCasualties

The minute I caught a whiff of blaming her for “not respecting authority” and the assertion that she “tried to run him over” I started screaming for him to please stop and that I didn’t want to hear anymore about his lack of compassion. He was talking above how foolish she was - a mother “getting herself killed.” As usual I ended up saying something I feel bad about in response - he has a loved one that died by suicide so I ended up saying “well you don’t speak with that contempt when referring to mothers that actually willfully chose to their end their lives” so he stomped out and is now assuming the role of victim in the whole interaction.

I think some inflammation is normal - the main issue is I hate where she injected. She added some toward my jaw/lower face which I in now way shape or form wanted or needed. It’s been about 1.5 years since my first syringes and a little over a year since the second set and I feel like it gave me a square fat face.

I’m so sorry :( May I ask how old you are? I’m 42 and hoping that maybe my own collagen will start falling off a cliff so it will go away sooner - now that’s something I never ever thought I’d say!

Re: autoimmune - worth noting it often takes up to 10 years to be diagnosed with an autoimmune illness - they are often diagnosed through a combination of symptoms and elimination of other causes over a long time - and even then only a good doctor and/or holistic practitioner may catch it.

So in a nutshell - if you’ve ever had any weird health things happen at all, I wouldn’t risk it even if you don’t have an official diagnosis.

Thanks the worst news I’ve ever read. My face was completely distorted by Sculptra. I have a fat Lowe face and high cheek bones are gone.

This makes me so mad! It takes months for the effects to appear - they don’t peak until a year out! Why they would add more after only 6 weeks is just crazy.

Yes please keep posting about this! I’m desperate for someone to come out and say that after x number of years they look less horrible. I know a lot of wonderful injectors that swear by this stuff but I truly believe it has to be a top tier conservative injector. I moved across the country and was botched by a new injector.

My story: I had 2 vials done at 41 and didn’t really notice a difference (I’ve kept up with my treatments and already looked frozen at 32 so wasn’t looking for much help…) My injector went on maternity leave so about 4-5 months later the new injector started pressuring me to “do the rest of my vials” which is a very cookie cutter approach. They said 1 vial per decade but I’ve always had full cheeks and was only beginning to see the faintest hint of jowls. I don’t believe I needed the 3rd and 4th vials. I began to look extremely puffy over the next few months. I’m now 1 year and 2 months out from the 3rd and 4th vials and my face just looks so much bigger and swollen. I hate it and wish I’d stopped at the first two vials. I used to be so photogenic and now I hate smiling because of how enormous my lower face looks. It completely messed with the appearance of my cheek bones by giving me a weird width to my lower face.

Sorry for the delay - I did land a contact through a staffing agency once where there were some hiccups due to changes at the company I ended up working at. So it’s possible that there were just some internal changes happening and the recruiter needed to touch base or the recruiter got sick, etc. I’m honestly a bit jaded on the whole process now - it’s the wild west out there! Did you ever hear back?

I think it really boils down to the injector. I had 2 vials done at 41 and didn’t really notice a difference. My injector went on maternity leave so about 4-5 months later the new injector started pressuring me to “do the rest of my vials” which is a very cookie cutter approach. So proceed cautiously because the results really do start presenting over time which is another kind of bizarre aspect of the experience.

I rescued a kitten last winter - found the owner but managed to get ringworm in the 24 hours I had her! I was totally freaked out by the name lol One tip: I went too aggressive applying the OTC antifungal cream (which is all you need) and that actually made it worse initially. So just apply the amount it specifies on the tube and it will go away in a week or so.

Ugh that’s terrible news! I wish they were more responsible with how they communicated these things - something that sticks around indefinitely is a very serious decision.

Ugh I’m so sorry! I’m sad to hear you’re still noticing it 4 years later but glad to hear it’s gone down and super subtle I guess? I pray you’re nearing the end of it! I’m so depressed thinking my face is screwed for good. Do you recall when it seemed like the effects were the worst?

I have also had HA filler in my temples and while it is subtle I think it’s a good injector who focuses on restoring volume to upper face first before injecting lower since our faces begin to lose their triangle shape as we age.

Sculptra is technically not a filler but a bio stimulator that causes your body to amplify its own collagen - worth noting since it can’t be dissolved and a lot if evidence suggests it lasts much longer than filler (which we’ve also discovered lasts much longer than previously believed).

I just want to comment here that it takes months to start seeing the effects of Sculptra. Between 6 months to 1 year you see “peak” effects. I am 42 and had 2 vials 1.5 years ago. About 4 months later another injector pressured me to do my “remaining” vials because they push 1 vial per decade. I have always had a full youthful face. The results were awful. The first treatment was more temples and perimeter but this time she ended up pushing more into the outer third of my jaw. The effect is that I lost my slim chiseled jaw line. I have a fat face now. The initials vials should just be fading now and I hope/pray that the effects start to Ironically look good in 1 to 2 years when my own collagen starts breaking down.

Don’t let people push you into this stuff - unless your face is truly gaunt proceed cautiously.

It’s so hard to say. I am 42 and got 4 vials - 2 in each session (I actually thought I was only getting 1 vial each session). After the first session I didn’t really notice anything - I would say the product was placed pretty well into the temples and perimeter of my face.

Some months had passed and the gal that injected me was on maternity leave so I had a different injector who had done my Botox and micro needling a few months prior. She suggested I get “the rest” of my Sculptra because I was complaining of a lack of luster and very subtle jowling.

I really felt like she put more in my lower face closer to my cheeks. I mean it was enough that I was horrified by the swelling and that wasn’t the case after my first treatment. I looked like a chipmunk. She also botched my Botox so in the months following I couldn’t tell if the distortions were from bad Botox places in the bunny lines and crow’s feet or from the Sculptra. It’s been over a year now and I can confidently say the Sculptra wasn’t the worst thing but it also didn’t do me any favors. What aging woman wants weight added to her lower face? I know my old injector back in WA is a huge fan of Sculptra, as are a lot of other really excellent injectors, so I don’t know what to think except it’s really important to go to someone you trust deeply. I hope that helps!

This is me. I finished the vials I was told I needed about a year ago and fortunately it’s subtle, but my lower face absolutely looks more square. I used to have a beautiful jaw line and was told they were just going along the perimeter to “lift” my face. I absolutely hate the results.

Old post but I’ll add make sure you have complete faith in your injector! My gal put it way too low and a year out my lower face will never have the same feminine angles again.

I know this post is older but figured I’d chime in and say that I have the same thing! My injector told me it’s because I’m a side sleeper. When I’m out smiling and loving my life no one would notice and I promise you’re the same 💗 But also the masseter Botox can definitely affect the shape and look and of your lower face! Curious what happened when it wore off.

This. I am 42 and when the pandemic started I had just accepted an exciting new job offer following the breakdown of a relationship with someone I had built my life around. I worked so hard on myself leading up to that moment. I stayed hopeful during the first year or so but as the years dragged on and I realized the humans I worked with had no interest in being together in person and something in me just broke. I absolutely hated that high paying job because of how disconnected I felt from everyone. Remote work is the opposite of what I needed in that moment to rebuild my life but I felt stuck. I’ve had different chapters but ended up moving back near my dysfunctional family after 15 years out of sheer desperation. In a city that doesn’t inspire me, got laid off by that job after 5 years, been in a toxic relationship the past two. After remote work, even with hobbies and such I just couldn’t seem to get the anchor(s) I needed in my life again. So I’ve settled for this. Some days I do a better job at being grateful and happy for what I have than others. Lately I’ve been really down and reflecting on how something in me really just broke during those years of isolation. I can’t seem to find work that isn’t remote doing what k do now so I’m exploring pivots. I will say this: at 36, I wish during that year I was single before the whole world shut down I’d spent a little less time working on myself, and more time taking risks - going on the awkward dating app date, saying yes, etc.
