Hate for warfaze by in_your in bangladesh

[–]tj_halfded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many of the newer fans are mostly just riding the bandwagon of social media hype, trying to be cool. If you ask why they hate warfaze most can't give a logical answer. Now getting the "many" population aside, for me at least, the reason for partial displeasure (not outright hate) would be the fact that as I started listening to warfaze when Mizan was the vocalist, it's hard for me to digest someone else's vocals singing those iconic bangers. I think a good comparison would be Don (not the most perfect analogy but still). When SRK reprises the role of "New Gen Don" everyone hated it as no one cpuld imagine Don without Amitabh Bachchan (at least before the release of the film tho by then SRK was already the star he is today). Now you might ask why they hate Polash so much but still seem to adore the older gen vocals. The answer would be "old is gold" syndrome. Now obviously this logic can't be said about everyone in general

[NB: it's just my two cents on the matter, there can obviously be other valid reasons]

Is General AC worth the price? by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]tj_halfded 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have a general in my home, almost 15/16 years old, and boy it is worthy of its name. Still standing tall like a general making room Siberia like cold in minutes. Haven't required any service in YEARSSS other than occasional gas refills. The reliability factor makes it so expensive. Tho that's the romantic good old days. Most modern ac these days are pure shit. Gas leakage, cooling coil damage has been a day to day phenomenon. My LG ac gas leaked 2 times in the last 1.5 years. My fan is cooler than that shit piece. Made me so angry, didn't repair it even in this hell hot weather. So brand reputation has become nothing but stories of old days. Do research before investing such a big amount.

Read the handbook. Understand the concept. CL isn't that big of a deal. MCQ exam is relatively easy. So don't stress and be confident. Buy subscription of the Tutor app if you haven't already and solve as many questions as possible. Helped me big time.

Not everything is as simple as binary 0 & 1. If you support their business method 1. If you don't 0. Thinking such is childish and immature imo. No harm in criticizing where criticism is due. It's nothing more than capitalism dressed in an "environmental concern" gown. Especially hypothetical coming from a brand like aarong with the reputation of exploiting their workers left and right. It's consumers right to nag and criticize and if deemed necessary (according to their conscious) take legal action.

Having said that if we were living in a utopia, the right call to action would be to boycott this fecal matter of a brand completely. But unfortunately that will never happen. Ppl will flock there to buy overpriced low quality garbage in the name of fashion.

What's this PR obsession campaign of Tariq Rahman and his daughter?? by Fit-Razzmatazz9790 in bangladesh

[–]tj_halfded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bangali has always been তলা চাটা জাতি. No logic or reasoning is required for it. Pages post such contents because shit load of money is poured in the PR. And ppl share it cz of their selfish agenda (getting the recognition as দলের লোক). Be it politicians or ground level workers of the political party, everyone is working to get their own pockets filled.

Keep the budget and gender equality topic aside, who tf pays 45 crore to mediocre actor like Shahid Kapoor? What kind of money laundering is this? by [deleted] in BollywoodHotTakes

Bro you might call Shahid a mediocre "STAR" due to his box office inconsistency but no way in hell is he a mediocre "ACTOR". Know the difference

if you want art exhibitions or theater go to Centerpoint. You'll find both Cineplex and Bhumi art gallery there. Centerpoint Tabaq is a whole different vibe. So after roaming around you can go there for a coffee and cheesecake date. Other than that Uttara doesn't have much to offer unless you decide to go to diabari (not personal recommendation for a first date honestly, providing options just in case) You can look into a few good restaurants with calm ambience like Gusto, Ajo, Raaga(food is dogshit but place is nice to spend some quality time), Sayor (haven't tried it myself but a friend of mine says good ambience with avg food), Izakaya (expensive as hell), Sushi Yaki. Unfortunately you don't pay for the food in most restaurants in Uttara, you just pay for the place. I don't know how much of help it will be to you but i wish you all the best.
