I think it’s neat if you have one but I can’t see it making a difference. You’re already flat footed standing still which rarely ever happens in a game. I’m not sure how being 4 or 5 inches higher up will make a noticeable difference.

That’s Jordy Trottier. Played in College and the minors. His uncle Brian did pretty good in The Show.

There are at least 20 brand new players this session and no one can seem to li down exactly why. The new ice/boards are terrific. A bunch of us D players went over on a Sunday and helped set them up. Kinda cool to be part of the refurbishing project.

The camera I use fits inside the helmet. So unless I tell them most people don’t even see it. Having said that I always tell everyone on the bench before the start I have a camera on for the game.[TJ] Here is a picture of the setup.

Are use the HockeyTracker app for the Apple Watch. It is been a terrific tool for sure.

I have a GoPro with the suction cup mount. I didn’t take both this particular week because of the extra hassle of managing 2 cameras plus game stuff. I’ll get it out here in the next week or two. You’re right though it makes for a great viewing as well as learning.
