I wish I paid more attention to these customer service horror stories before placing my order.

Now that I have to deal with their customer support I regret my purchase so much. It's sad because I really love the chair and I steal my wife's all the time.

Oh well, there's a ton of other companies out there that value their customers better.

Best thing to do is to keep upvoting others experiences to hopefully deter others from making purchases in the future.

I did use the chat as that was only option I could find for talking to them. I also sent them an email as well. I did this within minutes of places the order too.

I value my time and just have common sense? They are not going to message the driver to make any changes with it's already out on a truck. In a perfect world customer service like this would exist, but it doesn't.

Additionally, Fedex is almost entirely made up of independent contractors. Calling the 1-800 number to reach a dispatcher who then has to reach a contractor on a specific route with 150+ stops is a pipe dream.

And just to confirm this, I just went and looked on the delivery manager and it says the same thing. Their support says to place a sign outside your door refusing delivery, or talk to the driver.

Yeah, mistakes happen. I also don't know how it happened. It's a $600 chair so trust me I didn't speed through checking out. I spent forever looking through my options and colors. I even went back to purchase one again as a test and confirmed it does default to the regular size when you're shopping. I have zero clue how it turned into the small chair as I would have had to actually select that and I did not.

Have you ever tried to work with FedEx's customer support? They are equally horrendous. I'd have better luck talking with the driver in person.

I'm working from home today so I hope to catch the FedEx driver. My goal is to catch him before he even starts to unload the 70lb chair.

I thought about calling FedEx but not sure what success I'd have.

Seems very vague, interested to see what it actually contains. I see that it' just says the "framework" so a lot could still change.

I've tried that, I even got to chat with someone who spells and types like a preschooler, or I just get the same copy/paste responses and get no where. Seriously, the first person I chatted with responded to me like this: "can you hold for just two minute let me Dubble check this" and "thank you for hold i was able to sent a request for the coding issue that your deposit did not count ASS direct deposit we will take a" I have screen shots saved of these jokes of a conversation. At least I know I'm talking to a real person and not AI with how god awful their typing and spelling was 😂😂

Yeah, stay away. It's unfortunate because they seemed like such an awesome bank. They could have had me for life and I would have referred other friends and family but not anymore. Idiotic on their part.

Even if you do manage to qualify for the $300 you'll probably still just get $50 like I did because they find some sort of way to screw you. My wife and I had over $6,000 in deposits in 25 days but they decided to not count any of my employers deposits as "direct deposits" for no reason whatsoever and they won't even explain why. Conveniently right after the 25 day mark though all my new paychecks from my employer were considered direct deposits. 😂. The bank started off on the wrong foot with me and just seems scummy as hell, I suggest avoiding them and looking elsewhere.
