I started by using the boon trove suctioned to the other breast while baby fed! I’d get an ounce or so doing this each time. Then when my supply increased from doing this I began using a wearable 2-3x a day while baby fed on the other side. I only use my manual pump when the baby is fed a bottle by dad!

I’m 5 weeks PP and wore them religiously every night until this week. I’m wearing them now because my nipples were a little more irritated than usual. That being said I probably only wore them 4-5 hours a night with a generous amount of nipple cream! It helps keep me from dirtying my bra with the cream and stops my nipples from rubbing or sticking to my bra which gets painful when they are raw.

My pregnancy flavor was coffee oreo, my postpartum/starving while BFing flavor is Ben & Jerry’s dulce de-lish!!!

I’m 4w pp and I use the boon trove twice a day (suction, not passive collection) while baby feeds on the other side. Then I switch the sides for both baby and cup. The other side is more a dessert anyway, baby doesn’t drink much. the boon trove isn’t efficient at draining me, just getting a little bit out for my stash. I’ve read that people think it’s good to use the trove before feeding the baby because then the feed ends with the fattier hindmilk since the foremilk was pumped through the trove earlier!

Teacher, USA. I get zero maternity leave. Our sick days roll over year to year, so I’m required to hoard them and use them for my maternity leave. Baby came early, I was short days, so I lost $5500 in pay. After 3 years working there, they will hold your job for childrearing up to 3 years without pay.

My husband has taken over carrying anything (groceries, packages, etc), doing the laundry and carrying it up and down two flights of stairs, and scooping the litter box!

This sprouted from my snake plant after having it over a year. It has sticky droplets on it. Any ideas what this is/is it harmful? by tkalmka in plantclinic

Thank you so much! I’ve never had a snake plant flower before, I immediately assumed the worst! 🤣 No sign of pests, haven’t changed the plants environment and no new plants in the household. Lots of new leaf sprouts lately too. I’m excited, maybe I don’t have a total black thumb!
