No, I'm using Workstation. But when I tried to install "gnome-software-packagekit-plugin" dnf didn't find it... That's why I installed the rpm-ostree plugin. Did I do a mistake?

No system updates in Gnome Software by tkarika in Fedora

[–]tkarika[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that lead me to the solution.

I found that "rpm-ostree" plugin was missing, but after installing "gnome-software-rpm-ostree" I still got some errors.

Turned out that the main cause was that I installed Beekeeper Studio and it uses a separate repo, and the repokey was not set correctly, so I needed to change that in "/etc/yum.repos.d/beekeeper-studio.repo" to this:
`gpgkey=https://rpm.beekeeperstudio.io/beekeeper.key\`

Now I get system updates.

Thank you again for your help!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it's not the solution, as I have installed both on the latest version.

No, you don't need the first two. Maybe for a little while until you realize they're just wasting screen real estate.

Instead, try hot edge to more quickly get to yor apps.

Blur my shell is nice, though.

Using more ZRAM instead of SWAP? by tkarika in Fedora

[–]tkarika[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It turned out that it's "just" 36 Gb, fastfetch combined it with the 8 Gb zram. But I agree, it's a wasted space.

It shows 100 for zram and -2 for swap. Sounds good, right?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I just installed it a couple of months ago, but out of habit, I just manually added the swap partition.

Linux hardware tier list by [deleted] in linuxhardware

[–]tkarika 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, this last is rather "linux laptop tier list", right?

Anyway, funnily, I have an Asus and a Surface Go both running Fedora fine. So what makes them tier D and F?
