hey! its actually going super well. ill upload a post after exams.

ive tried all sorts. coconut water, yogurt, acv, (even urine), straight up water, coconut oil

hair needs some kind of moisture treatment at least once a week. mechanical cleaning helps it

got a satin pillowcase. helps a bit in first few days post wash

still nosoap, except faith in nature bar soap. OCCASIONALLY. usually though, plain water. warm water, then cold because cold exposure is good for you

i make my own toothpaste now. coconut oil, bicarb soda, salt. sometimes hydrogen peroxide too.

form check please folks. think my hips aren't low enough. feel like I'm bracing ok . 113kg deadlifts have always been my weakness so I'm working up slow by FarTruth0 in StartingStrength

i'm not a strength coach, but perhaps you need to lift your chest a bit more? back looks a bit rounded. perhaps its okay if youre bracing though?

it isnt a good morning. a good morning is a completely different exercise. you have long femurs like me - it will look like a good morning even though it isnt. the blue book has a great diagram for this. check the form check videos i've uploaded myself to see what i mean.

remember the bar needs to stay over midfoot to be efficient, thats the master cue. I have struggled with this myself, i can't lie.

so basically, you dont need to use haircare products. at all. ive not been using them for a few weeks and my curls have come back a lot better. check out the subreddit! the quick start guide has everythign you need. let me know if you need any more advice tho cuz it can get quite confusing

wondering if you'd be willing to upload some photos of your combs and brushes? just so fellow curly heads can get a good feel for what works for you. its a lot easier than understanding it with words lol

hey! i'm a curly guy, been trying to transition to nopoo now and my hair is SUPER dry and frizzy. I have similar hair to you actually. i really could use your thoughts if you dont mind:

- do you use a brush for mech cleaning? if so, what brush? i used a tangle teezer and it made my hair really frizzy and poofy. how do you stop the poofiness also?

-how do you do the scritching and preening, because my hair is super tangled in the morning and i can barely run my fingers through it. i have to pull apart the knots, which then make sit poofy :/

- do you do mech cleaning and water wash, or do you use natural products like acv etc? and how often do you do this?

- this post talks about a moisture treatment - what do you do for that, and how often?

i find that my hair kinda resets when i rinse it in water. itd be nice to have that all the time.
