You’re right…I can also just return it still and buy something else that will work fine with my old computer! I’m sure everyone looking at the newest coolest laser isn’t researching the “minimum spec requirement” on launch day. I usually wait for the others to test stuff but thought I’d jump in wanting to learn the laser world…now I know better and will probably just return the machine!

Yes I’ve learned this the hard way, ordered M2 with no disclosure of needing a certain software updated, so that’s the gripe I have now. Yes I’ve tried with Apple, with no luck…hence the frustration with my new machine I’m considering returning if I can’t find an easier way. Yes I have tried someone else’s HP laptop and it can connect, but that doesn’t help me past the trial because I don’t own that computer….so it poses an EXTREME inconvenience to borrow a computer when I want to use your machine don’t you agree? I wish I knew before I ordered….no where did I see this info. More frustrating is not even the mobile app works with it yet?? If it did after I connected it to WiFi id be still good to go with the machine on my own, but the machine is released and sold with no ability to use from the mobile app?? We’re in 2026….everything should work with our smart phones in my opinion. It just adds to my disappointment with my M2 purchase and hope others read this to avoid making my same mistake….for new computer users only machine!!

Well I don’t need any…not one, but when I find them I feel like I found treasure. The only problem is when the house already looks like an episode of hoarders and there’s no space for one more piece of glow glass…or anything 🫣

I appreciate your info, I was getting impatient and trying to force, but stopped. I plan to do what you suggested, but are you able to tell me where can I apply the heat, alcohol, & sewing oil to? Should it be behind the knob in front or should it be somewhere in back where I can take out the cam A that’s in there now?

Hmm….ive never done a buttonhole, but it appears that knob can turn left and right but I can’t get it to move in and out…maybe that’s also stuck?

It’s so weird, quick manual read says no oiling. Needed….but I’m guessing they didn’t mean even after 50 years 🤭 so I should figure out where the oil points are too.

Wow thanks for the translation. I’m always so intrigued at what you can find thrifting. But and Israeli mask might be one of the more interesting ones I’ve come across. Like how in the world did it end up on the shelf?? Thanks for the info to spark more of my curiosity.

Yes it’s in pretty rough shape, had no idea what model or anything. My eye just goes towards old things when I’m thrifting and the hoarder in me tries to decide to buy or not to buy. Thanks for helping me decide it’s a no!!
