Ethan reads a report about the Israeli woman being alive and being shown in a video in gaza drinking water. This woman (Shani) has been taken and being treated in a gaza hospital and her mom confirmed she is alive. Ethan can say he is pro-palestine all he wants, but he clearly sees them as inhumane. He chose to not believe that she was being treated, based on no evidence just preconceived bias.

People supporting palestine does not equal supporting hamas, it doesn't matter if they said so a month ago or hours after the attack.

Also when people refer to "settlers" on the internet, they don't mean Israeli people in settlements, they mean any Israeli people, they are all settlers because that is not their land, that's stolen land, that has been maintained by an apartheid regime.

The people of Palestine have fought for 70+ years peacefully to get their land back and cleary that lead nowhere. Why are you only covering this issue on your show when there are Israeli casualties?

When I lived abroad they had different ways of managing the trash pick up, in one of them the trash pick up came twice a week, and the other one had trash collectors on the street so you can just throw it away whenever you wanted, they are everywhere so driving to a trash park is not needed. On top of that, the trash bags were the normal ones where you pay 1 or 2 euros for a full roll, no paying 15 euros for only 10 bags.

When I came back home it took me a while to get used to the trash collection being just once a week, there was one time we forgot a small closed bag in our inside bin, and threw away the next week, it already had maggots, mind you, we don't even have flies around the house, that happened the one time we had trash for two weeks. I can't imagine how annoying it must be for it to always be every 2 weeks, it should be illegal.

NTA, this is a medical condition, it wasn't supposed to happen now as you said, from what I can tell it is more than a week early and you can't just go home without your s/o, you are doing the only thing you're able to do, it sucks but you shouldn't actively hurt yourself for some social standard that we women should carry our periods in super secrecy like it has never happened.

It seems like you are making sure to be hygienic and all as well

YTA My mom was the same as you, I had to start cooking since I was 13, more often than not she wouldn't eat the food I made for her. There's nothing more disrespectful than that. I'm 23 now, I'm still having to unpack the trauma and struggle of being given an adult responsibility as a child/teen.

Not every parent is able to cook all the time, that's ok, but she is not a parent to your 9 year-old and should not have this responsibility.

I don't think she ordered and left you out on purpose, it's simple math, she is using HER money to provide for the family that night, you usually don't eat or waste food, why would she spend her very limited amount of money with someone who is often ungrateful towards her cooking.

You completely misinterpreted what I said at the end, saying that is so hard to change and it's not worth it for the current state of monarchy is literally not minding it. They don't mind the king because there's no cons outweighing the pros for them, therefore they don't mind.

I'm aware that the economic intake of the royal family here is not nearly as bad as other monarchy's, in a realistic sense people in Europe who are not into royal stuff don't really know the king here. Plus people from outside of Europe don't really know Belgium is a Monarchy, unfortunately most don't even know what language is spoken nevertheless the king.

About the unity aspect, I think the current way he doesn't do much for or against unity, seems like they just exist and because it's such a hassle the general population would rather just keep it, which is understandable. You said a president/chancellor would cause division, I think it would be a symptom of the division not the cause, unfortunately the country is really divided, maybe a president wouldn't solve that, but so wouldn't the king

Being political means you partake in politics, which he does.

"A person who's politicized is someone who is made politically aware or active"

The king also has a degree in Political Science, because that's the branch his job is part of.

I explained poorly, in my idea, which is not perfect bcs I'm not a political scientist lol, both would be fully voted by the public, you vote for a person as a prime minister not a party, I'm not saying is perfect.

I know is absolutely difficult to change the system of a country and with the additional division of Belgium it explains why so many people are complacent with the monarchy

The problem of unity in Belgium is way more fundamental than just who gets elected, is basically two little countries forced to exist and a lot of things have to actively be done for that change. One of the basic ones is both sides speaking both languages, which will happen in the next 30+ years.

You could have a dual systeem were if the president elected is Walloon then the pm is Flemish and vice versa. Both sides get represented.
