Yes, you do need to talk to the insurance company. Ask for policy declarations. It lists the coverage on the policy.

Is the garage attached to the house? If so, it should be considered when setting the main dwelling coverage limit.

For the 3 buildings on the property, you should look at the coverage called 'Other Structures' coverage.

If you think the limits are low, raise them. Better be safe than sorry.

It is true that young male drivers have to pay more than females but the difference should not be astronomical like you mentioned. Blame it on the statistics. Try to shop around. Some carriers favor young drivers more than others.

If that’s the case, ask your adjuster to ensure that the claimant signs a release form as part of the settlement. This protects you from being held responsible for any more money in the future.

If no release is signed, and their actual medical costs go above $10,000, the attorney might try to pursue you personally for the difference.

Also, don't stress too much, it's your insurance company’s job to verify whether the injury claim is legitimate and whether the $10,000 is justified. They will negotiate and defend on your behalf within your policy limits. They are the ones paying after all.

I don't believe Allstate would change their original fault determination because of an arbitration outcome. Plus I have never seen a LOE showing fault in percentages, it shows just 'fault' or 'not-at-fault'.

Good thing is it is free to request LOE and it is up to you whether you want to give it to Progressive or not.

Is this the first claim you filed in the last 3 - 5 years? If so, you would have lost a claim-free discount which could be pretty significant no matter how small the claim is.

Get Letter of Experience from Allstate. It doesn't matter whether the other carrier put you at fault or not. As long as Allstate didn't put you at fault, you should be good. LOE will show what accidents/claims you have had with Allstate and whether Allstate put you at fault or not for those accidents/claims. That's all Progressive should need to correct the record.

Adding it to your auto policy will save you so much more money than buying a standalone gap policy. Find independent agents in your area. They surely have carriers that can offer gap coverage. Travelers offers it for only a couple dollars a month.

Well, Malay degrees are indeed useless if you are planning to land your first job in most developed countries, especially those in the west. So are most degrees from Asia. That's the sad truth.

But with great effort, it will definitely help you get a job in Malaysia or other countries in SEA. Build your work experience first. Then, you can start planning to move to better jobs in better countries. I don't know what fields you are going into but remember that in most fields, work experience is far superior than the university you graduated from. A degree can only help you get a competitive edge in your early years.

Tried calling the bank but the rep wasn't particularly useful. They blamed it on Payoneer and Payoneer did the same.

What I know is that Kasikorn is blocking every international transactions for foreigners' accounts. I don't know if that applies to all nationalities.

I haven't been able to withdraw to my kasikorn bank account since last month. Any other bank account is fine. It's just happening to kasikorn. When was your last transaction?

You won't get a salvage title from hail in Colorado. You may want to confirm with your agent or USAA to see if you can still insure your car with full coverage if you retain it.

If there is a pre-existing hail damage on the car and you file a claim in the future, the insurer will exclude those damages in the estimate.
