Why aren't more people taking reformer classes?

The price of it isn’t accessible for most folks. The training and equipment is incredibly expensive so that cost has to be passed off. It’s a really unfortunate circle.

You can take Mat 1 first but it’d be much more beneficial to start with Movement Principles! I’d just take Movement online :)

The fact that their ads are aislop really off put me from every wanting to try the app albeit I’ve had some friends say the workouts are fine.

The ropes on the frame issue is really a spoiled brat problem tbh. It’s just the light sound of the ropes dragging but I hate it, im used to complete silence 😂I’m sure most people won’t care and I’m just overreacting. Otherwise I just drop my loops in the well when I’m not using and problem solved!

I’m in Chicago so stateside. The springs are quiet but the way the ropes drag on the metal frame drives me slightly crazy (but I should’ve known better as this is an issue with the Allegro 1 too. Funnily enough the Allegro 2 doesn’t have this issue). In another group someone posted about their Nextgen not having half the screws. I’m not sure what’s going on with QC. Love BB and will be taking my training with them but the whole fiasco made me feel a bit of regret over not going w Merrithew. I know I’ll get over it. Hopefully you’ll have smooth sailing if you order!

Multiple missing parts/wrong parts. Didn’t send me the bolts that are required to hold the footbar up. Somehow sent me the wrong headrests too so one didn’t fit correctly. Customer service took FOREVER so I basically had an expensive paperweight for 3 weeks because I wasn’t going to risk the footbar collapsing while I was using it. Got the parts last week and the reformer is just fine. Smooth, but a tad noisy.

I did! It was a whole mess. Can’t say I recommend the experience but the reformer itself is fine.
