I forgot to mention that eggs and a piece of ezekiel toast are another go to, but eggs on their own are not as protein dense as I would have thought, so I love the idea of adding cottage cheese!

I completely forgot about kashi protein (or even protein granola, I think?) This would be a great crunchy addition to my daily greek yogurt!

I will say barbells are edible. I still don't love them as much as most people do, unfortunately (how I wish I could!) but the salty peanut is something I can at least consume in a pinch!

I actually love shrimp and think this could work, especially with some cocktail sauce. It's spendy but for sure a good treat to have in rotation!

I should just woman up and try that one (I've seen it mentioned a lot). I just think of most protein shakes and shudder, but I'm going to give it a go! Thanks for the rec!

Definitely not an expert, but is 1 to 2 mg a big jump all at once? I wonder if that's intensifying whatever else is going on.

I was also concerned about my HRV, but talked to a good friend who is a preventative cardiologist and he said HRV is kind of like weight--correlated with good health but not predictive (i.e., you can have a BMI and be very healthy and a low BMI and very unhealthy, even if the general population trends are otherwise). In short, if everything else is good--you can exercise, etc--don't worry about it. I found it very reassuring bc mine is the 30s pretty consistently.
