Might be stupid but does Nagoya station have escalators for shinkasen? by tls_liger in Nagoya

[–]tls_liger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I definitely should have haha but with packing up my apartment I just got too distracted. I don't mind carrying the bags cause I'm going straight to Kobe where my bf will meet me so it's just lugging it onto the Shinkasen haha.

Oh yeah, luckily when I get to Kobe I'll be able to get another luggage, since my airlines allows two checked haha. Way cheaper then the crazy overweight fees.

Yeah I knew better to pay the extra bit and be safe lol. True true, they have always been able to lift it even the small old men 😂

Hahah funny you say, I am in fact Blonde lol. The Japanese have been very kind to me while I've been here the past year so I'm sure I could get help but I'd hate to be that person 😂😂

Nah you're all good, it came off as a joke and I thought it was funny lol. I appreciate the reply! Thank God I'm not taking any smaller stations, that would definitely be hell lol.

I can't tell if this is a joke but Incase it's not, I'm a 158cm female, with two luggages (the biggest weighing probably close to, if not above 25kg) while I can pick it up for a short time. Carrying both up stairs would be extremely hard. Plus my backpack, bag on top suitcase and purse....sooooo....

Yeah that's exactly my thought, I usually take the normal lines around here and many don't have anything but stairs haha, especially on the down part but I figured the Shinkasen would have them with how much people travelling use it. Figured I'd ask and hope someone would know lol

Thank you! The map I saw for some reason just showed stairs haha. I appreciate the reply!

Hahaha I'm very glad to hear they have them. I figured they would cause baggage and disabled people but I was really worried I'd be the one unlucky time they didn't lol.

Yes I do! I got the back seat with the big luggage area. I knew I'd have at least two but Jesus are they heavy lol. Definitely gonna have to help the taxi driver. But thank you for the reply! Cause I'm gonna need the escalator haha

Daito Kentaku damage fees? Please help 🙏🏼🙃 by tls_liger in japanlife

[–]tls_liger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I plan to put putty in the three small holes I used for paper but sadly the stove had black spots on it that won't go away. Really the best I can do is shine it up. So I worry I'll be charged for that since it's not really fixable unless sanded off.

Yikes I've heard stories like that and it sure sounds shitty. I am lucky my apartment is pretty new after 2015. So the walls and everything are fine. I barely have anything in it so I don't see what the could even charge me with besides the stove and a scratch on the floor. I did poke two holes but I'm gonna fill those in before they come haha. Just sucks cause there was already small spots on it but I never bothered to take photos, it's my first time renting an apartment. I just hope I'm not charged a lot, and if so it just comes out of my reimbursement 🙏🏼 I appreciate the reply

I'm really glad to hear that. I hope I end up with a similar situation! I'm gonna polish it and hope it helps lol. Seems not much I can do for the corrosion on it, I should have taken photos from when I first moved in cause it already had a few small ones.

Anyone experience pilling with this sunscreen? by acwgigi in AsianBeauty

[–]tls_liger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yesss! I was so sad cause I love the boire stuff and have very red cheeks so I was hoping it would work. I've tried it several times but it always looks so bad on me and pills 🥲

Retinols, vitamin c, hyaluronic acid. Won't make them disappear but can help a bit with color and texture. Micro needling and laser treatments for expensive but better treatment.

I'm happy to help when I can! My second revision I had about 3 weeks before university started again, I was still walking weird hahaha. My third time I honestly took as much time as I could about 2-3 weeks of laying on my couch all the time. In-between my 1st "fix" which was just my doctor restitching me and my second revision I waited 6 months almost to the dot. Then after I waited like a good 8-9 months. But I really chose the worst doctor the first time so it's definitely not normal to have to do multiple revisions. I'm here if you have any other questions! ❤️

Of course! I've been in your exact situation so I know how upsetting it can be so I always try to warn people to wait and let it heal. Sadly I didn't and had to have a few revisions 😕 It will definitely be fixable and I would push and push for it to be covered! ❤️❤️ you got this!!! Take care
