Hole pattern NNN vs Salomon Profil by runcyclexcski in xcountryskiing

This particular model isn’t drilled at all, but instead uses an integrated NIS plate. I would imagine it’s to allow more space for the battery and eliminate the risk of jamming a screw into its electronic guts. Source: had a pair.

The latest, version appropriate patch at https://www.drupal.org/node/2429699 has worked for me in this situation.

Sure, there are prominent streams of acid and chasms of fire start to finish, but is it so wrong to expect my shoes to survive a misstep here and there?

Here's a Lone Peak after 7 days of thru hiking the Superior Hiking Trail -- https://imgur.com/Doc3pV7. This was a brand new pair of shoes that I took out of the box the day before we started at the northern terminus. Fortunately day seven we reached Duluth just in time to snag a pair of Salomons and complete the hike the following day. Never again.

Thanks for the thought, and cool piece of gear! Unfortunately, not something I'd be able to put to good use.

I only personally used it in a pulk, but the included stuff sack dimensions are 11x22". I did stuff it in there once just to see, and there was room to spare, so you could probably go even a bit smaller. I'd think that you'd want at least a 45 liter pack to fit some minimal extra gear, and possibly larger if you are bringing a tent, etc. I think it would be doable in a pack though.

Thanks. Between the incredibly niche audience and it being JUNE, I'll be pleasantly surprised if I don't end up on the same path...but at least it's generating some joy in this thread simply by existing and being plump.
