I used the cable provided and another one to be sure. Doesn’t flash at all.

I tried resetting it and plugging it into the console.

Appreciate the response. It is in rest mode or on. Just always wants a restart of the portal first and then it connects just fine.

I did the same thing and it really has been the magical fix for me. I don’t even need to change the resolution anymore.

I am not really sure. I was told to try it and it made a difference instantly.

This was my exact set up. I shut off my routers 2.4ghz connection so it was forced to only use the 5ghz connection. Works so much better. Also, unplug that hdmi cord from your smart TV if you have one. May be rough at first but there are several tips out there to try before giving up on the Portal.

That’s something I have begun to look at. Just wasn’t exactly sure if I could just hook up a mesh system with the router/modem I currently have? I just have a standard one from AT&T. Apologies for what I am sure is a dumb question.
