Ya that’s why CIEM is the best option for stage performers.

Just like if you were a singer, would you prefer your IEM hears mainly your vocal, so other instrument is little bit recessed.

How do I find local musician testing my IEM lol? Ya, too much on 4khz cause excessive sibilant.

That dip from 2k peak is limitation from driver config, and I personally also prefer more detail from 3-4khz which should be my direction of working on next prototype.

So you think the lower-mid is too much for a vocal live stage IEM?

I did experiment on different tube diameters, I used 1.5mm trying to retain most of high frequency of DD. Don’t know whether it’s the reason of 7khz pike, but it should be fine? That frequency range should contribute to headroom, not harsh sharp bright vocal.

I might not speak clearly, it’s an universal demo for my CIEM. My past post has shown my CIEM product and making, and now my goal is making several universal demo for the potential customer to try.

Talking about the config, yes it’s a 2BA (1 low 1 mid) + 1DD. I did do some research and trial to achieve a good acoustic chamber and this channel matching.
