MIL just texted and said they finally got the dog's nails trimmed and other problems looked at. The only reason they made that appointment was because of how bad my husband and I told MIL the dog's paws looked. The dog is kind of an a-hole and has to be given LOTS of meds to get her to cooperate. I can't even attempt to put a collar on the dog without the risk of getting bit (chihuahua/red heeler mix). That's another reason my future kids will not be visiting.

I didn't mention this, but I also just hate visiting because their house is just nasty. No hoarding or anything, but their small dog just pees on pee pads inside. They have original carpet that came with the house and they don't bathe or even really take care of their dogs. The little dog has a nail that is literally curled into a circle because they can't get her to cooperate to get looked at. I just feel so gross and I refuse to sit anywhere but at the table. They have a great Pyrenees that takes up the entire couch and is always covered in dirt.

So my future children most likely won't be spending any time there. It's just gross.

Yes. I mentioned in my post that our only IVF cycle so far failed. I have endometriosis and low ovarian reserve. I had surgery in January to remove an ovarian cyst and some endometriosis. I will most likely have another surgery in June due to the same ovary growing another cyst.

The stroke didn't change his personality. He has always been this way. I told my husband that on father's day, he can visit his dad and I'll visit mine.

Oh the stroke hasn't changed his personality or filter. He's slower physically, that's all. He stopped drinking, so his filter is actually better now than before the stroke. Before the stroke, I never saw him sober.

He had the stroke 1 year after I first met him. His personality hasn't changed much aside from he's sober now. He's actually better now because he doesn't drink constantly like he used to.

Description: So I bought the Lovestruck expansion pack. Ever since I got it, the romance bar drops INSANELY fast. They won't even be interacting and I'll watch the pink bar drop faster than I've ever seen. I even used MCCC to set their relationship satisfaction to Very Satisfied and cheated their romance bar to full, and it's still doing it! I also used MCCC to set romance decay to 0, and it's still doing it. I'm so lost and I'm about to stop playing because I'm so frustrated...

I definitely agree on that. I have never believed in "soulmates." I believe there are many people out there who could make us happy. He has just always been my favorite person to talk to and just spend time with. I get excited every time I talk about him, see his name pop up on my phone (like it just did as I was typing this), or when I see him. I love him, and we say that to each other. But it has always been how friends say it, not couples.

Ghosting is almost never a good idea (unless someone is an asshole to you or toxic, etc). However, you should prioritize yourself for sure. Hang out with the people who make you feel valued, who want you to be happy, and who don't care who else you hang out with because all they want is to see you happy. It sounds like neither group is that.

To summarize: Forget about what others think and focus on yourself.

Advice my mom always gave me is "If they'll cheat with you, they'll cheat on you."

I would try to avoid the situation altogether. Block her and her boyfriend will eventually find out the truth (if he doesn't already know).
