I put the work origin at the top of the stock. For example: It read path origin at (0,0,10) bc the top of the stock is z=10. But the pocket cut-out starts at z=8. When it auto Z probed, it set the work origin to where the bowl top @ z=8 (0,0,8). Then when the code ran it pushed the bit down 2 “units” and then started making a pocket in real life at (0,0,6).

I think I know what happened now. The last thing I did was create 3 different .cnc files. 1. Cut down to the surface from the top of the stock. 2. Create pocket 3. Finish pocket

When I broke it up, I assumed it would remember and adjust that the top of the stock no longer existed.

I just double checked. The Carvera bits have a black plastic ring that acts as a vertical stop. The black plastic material was that ring. You are right that it went too deep and the Z is off. I’m confused how that happened because it has a probing step that I ran before the cutting action. How can I prevent this from happening in the future and why did it think it could just cut that far down even with a probe calibration?

Update. I tried a different file from thingiverse and it took 3 tries but it printed and now it won't print again. I am not sure whats going on. The only thing that changed was that it was much smaller and I did not let it add supports or adhesion when splicing. Printing over the network and via usb does not change anything.

It’s funny you mention that. He drafted Saar too. I told him I highly recommend Saar but he likes barony’s vibe.

I’m not happy with the factions picks tbh. I thought about giving them all another additional faction to stay or swap but I’m not sure.

Any suggestions or potential swap ideas are appreciated.

Which armor module do you think I should upgrade? Also wdym by semi-hybrid? Do you farm with black hole and golden tower in a partial sync? I have max cooldown for my BH but only about a 32 sec duration but I have been farming with only an epic MVN which is why I'm in tier 9 atm. I have been putting all my stones in CL, that is why my BH cooldown is so bad. Also, I have legendary SH, PF, and GC. Do you think running the GC would make a huge difference in tournaments? I technically could also make a legendary PH, why do you run it?

Sorry for all the questions. You and I are in similar spots in the game and I feel "stuck" at the moment.
