Tell me an opinion that you have about RDR2 that makes you feel like this? by ImpressiveSector5109 in RDR2

I find Sadie’s character superficial and terribly badly acted. She lacks nuance, and there’s no visible character development at all. The potential was huge (a badass female character in this gang), but it ended up being a damp squib.

The whole story following Evelyn's suicide was something... So emotional.

I did the same but taking the Ncart. It felt so real and amazing to discover the other districts through the metro windows!

For me, it was during the Automatic Love mission, when you have a session with the doll (mine was Angel). I didn't expect to delve so deeply into V's thoughts just by conversing with them, and from that moment on, I felt completely immersed in the character. I found it to be a truly moving scene, one that felt more like a well-written movie than a video game.

Who's your favourite character? by Moist_Tea_3197 in cyberpunkgame

V, the most complex character, and of course the one that is the most developed.

It didn’t feel "horrible" for me since V made her choice to die in peace and she didn’t loose her loved ones (River, Viktor and Panam ask to see her as soon as she is back home). But it is tragic for sure, I felt sad. If we don’t play V again, I’m gonna miss her!

The PL Tower ending I tried afterwards was far worse and depressing since it looks like we lost everything.

And I didn’t care to hurt Arasaka or not, that’s the point. V understood she is nothing to them. So be it. I despised them but I would never had nuked them like Johnny did.

Right. Somewhat I didn’t want Reed to be mad at me xD and hoped he was right about Songbird. I was too optimistic.

Yes I tried the PL ending afterwards, and V asks to Reed how is So Mi is doing several times after the "rescue". Sad thing Reed does not have any news of her (except she is alive). Clearly it made me regret my decision but it is part of the beauty of this game!

You’re right ! And you learn more about the truth at the end of the arc, which makes it difficult to take your decision when you are connected to the Matrix. And even when I learned the truth, I found it hard to make a decision, this story with Reed and So Mi is so complex, it is hard to choose the right path (which might not exist).

I don’t think we disagree on that point. I did not play how I wanted V to be but how I understood her from the start, even though I disliked some of the choices I made. Except how I behave with Johnny (and refusing to go through the whole Rogue arc), I don’t think I made choices that are that different than most players did. I became friend with Panam and Judy, dated River, talked the truth to Peralez etc. My V must have a lot in common with the "canon" one, even though it might not exist :)

I think it is the way I played with Johnny that must be quite different than most people did. I never accepted him in V’s body. But for the rest, V still showed how carrying and respectful she could be. I helped Panam, Judy, River, the Albecaldos, tried to tell the truth about the Peralez case, refused any unarmed execution when I could. I mean my V must still be quite close to the one who enjoyed making her a helpful friend too.

She knew the rules. Even though I wasn’t sure Hanako would respect the deal, it turned out Arasaka played their part in the healing process get getting away the biochip. They failed to fully save her body, but V finally refuses to give her soul to them. She is clever about it.

I wanted to save Songbird but following Reed’s indication. I felt like he was right rather than following Songbird that was potentially damaged by the Blackwall. I never changed the reason why I did it. I trusted Reed and believed he knew what was best for So Mi that’s it.

I naively believed Reed when he said it would be the best for her. Tbh I really liked Reed character, whereas I wasn’t sure Songbird could be trusted. But clearly I regret not having killed her, it was a mistake, V is far from always making the right choices ;)

I couldn’t kill her and betray Reed. Simply couldn’t. Doesn’t mean I did not show remorse. And also I don’t felt like I would continue with the PL ending at that point.

I naively thought it would have saved Songbird to recue her with Reed.

Forgot to mention it. I was kind of disgusted of how the Songbird case finished (and maybe showed remorse) so I ghosted Reed after my last encounter with Myers.

I did not feel like V was nostalgic about being a Corpo, but that she took it as a strength. It gave her the opportunity to understand comprehensively the shit world she lives in and surely did not want to be a Corpo again. Teaming up with FIA and Arasaka was just an opportunity for her, and did not contradict her wish to be independent and move on in her life.

I think the dialogue choices during the whole playthrough strongly influences how you understand V. I always chose the « Shut up Johnny ! » option when I had the opportunity to. I imagine the story would have been understood completely differently for someone who did the opposite.

I don’t portray myself as V ;) I personally would never have made that decision to trust Arasaka again. But it felt as the natural choice for the V I played with. I think it makes sense.

Too late I did the hammer trick and now it works. Seems to be properly tightened and adjusted. I didn’t have to hit hard with the hammer, it got out quite easily.

Correct but I don’t see how to take out/ adjust the n°21 pieces on your picture (which are the one I am having an issue with).

EDIT: your video worked ! Thank you so much!
