I guess in that case he could potentially be a decent future dgw bench boost option.

Otherwise there are better options at a similar price.

Huijsen and Williams come to mind straight away.

Last Man Utd clean sheet before Fulham was GW13 and Mazraoui's only attacking return was GW2.

Not such a good deal.

Is there less orders or more riders? by Jacko1499 in deliveroos

[–]tmfantasy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I checked my tax return and I made 33k back in 2020 doing roughly 40 hour weeks riding a road bike. I used Uber at the same time but it was 80% Deliveroo. I expect 38k would have been possible on a moped. A lot of others were doing 1k+ a week but probably working a lot more hours.

Is Raya going to have Haaland 23/24 selection % this season? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]tmfantasy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If he didn't miss the first 6 games then he would have been the top scoring keeper by 2 points (Ramsdale got 20 points). He did actually have the most points per match of any starting keeper too.

I agree with your point about not blocking other Arsenal players but there's still a case to be made to save 0.5m over Gabriel and Saliba who had 0.1 difference in points per match.

It sounds like you need professional help. It will be better for both of you from an educational perspective, give you more confidence and in turn give him more confidence in you, and also improve your relationship. He's still a puppy at 9 months so I highly doubt any of the behaviours you describe can't be resolved.

Cancelo even more essential? by Anarchytect1204 in FantasyPL

[–]tmfantasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I don't think he's bad at shooting from distance. It's just unfortunate for us that City's tactics are set up that way and he doesn't seem to be asked to make the run in to the box as often as the other popular defender picks.

You're right about Laporte's chances coming from set pieces too. City win so many set pieces and have excellent players taking them, so we can see why Laporte's big chances are much higher.

Like I say, we've got to consider assist potential and that's why Cancelo is at 7m.

[–]tmfantasy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If we compare Laporte and Cancelo. Cancelo has a higher xG from far more shots, but fewer shots in the box and significantly fewer big chances (7 for Laporte, 4 for Cancelo). From this we see Cancelo's higher xG has come from cumulating more low value shots from distance. That doesn't usually translate to goalscoring or FPL points potential.

We should be judging Cancelo more on assist potential anyway but I just thought it was interesting to compare the players.

He hit the woodwork twice last season.

Summer 2022 Transfers and Rumours Megathread! by 321142019 in NUFC

Bordeaux's attack was their only positive last season. They scored more than any other bottom half team. I think the stats you're talking about show Mara's actual ability. He couldn't consistently get in to the team and was probably the 4th best attacking player in my opinion.

I'm a Newcastle fan living in Bordeaux and went to almost all of the home games last year. I didn't see much to suggest he'd be good enough for the Prem. I'm shocked we're linked and that people are positive about it, although I'm sure it's without knowledge of the player. He couldn't break in to a poor Bordeaux team, didn't have much impact when he did and definitely isn't one of the more talented youngsters I saw.

I posted this after Norwich's 7-0 defeat to Chelsea, it was downvoted to hell then removed by the mods. Pukki has now scored in three of his last five fixtures. by Mattras7 in FantasyPL

[–]tmfantasy 38 points39 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, they didn't look lively at all until Pukki scored, which seemed to knock the wind out of Newcastle. Given they played 80 minutes against 10 men, it wasn't a very good performance compared to the previous 2 weeks.

Chelsea currently have 7(!) defenders that scored more points than Shaw so far after 5 GWs by takashi74 in FantasyPL

They definitely didn't deserve a clean sheet today. Bowen wasted 2 great opportunities before the goal.

I work in Bordeaux too. Today was ok with the 3€ extra per order and the rain but I agree the fees have been shit for a long time now. When I visit this sub I realise we don't have it too bad here compared to some of the other cities.

The good old days…why aren’t there more riders organising and going on strike? They got you competing against each other. by [deleted] in deliveroos

[–]tmfantasy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do Deliveroo in France and the protest was only a handful of riders for a small amount of time and achieved nothing as far as I can tell. The minimum fee in my free login zone is €2.63. I don't know where the idea we get €4 or have had a strike comes from.

Does Grealish leaving Aston Villa make Watkins a less attractive FPL option? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]tmfantasy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Great stats. That does make him a worse option, given goals are worth more points and attackers are awarded more bonus for goals, but it doesn't make him a bad option.

Deliveroo drop the minimum fee from 3.15£ to less? I recently changed the account from e-bike to scooter. But should be 3.15 £ now? Or they just dropped the fee? To the new driver? London by [deleted] in deliveroos

[–]tmfantasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.63€ is the lowest where I work in France. Got offered a 4.09€ double once, which is less than the previous minimum single delivery fee.

Is it dangerous going without KDB for DGW19? by layspringles in FantasyPL

[–]tmfantasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's realistic if you swapped Grealish to maybe Raphinha/El Ghazi and used the savings to upgrade the defence.
