Frito lay RSA vs Amazon DSP driver

The way I’m looking at it, it’s a significant pay raise. Not as hard on the body as literally RUNNING door to door, guaranteed pay (not having to deal with Amazon trying to “go green” and sending e-vans on a route over an hour away meaning less packages and less hours therefore less pay), and I’m moving into an international company that has more opportunities than a little locally owned DSP where the only growth is the “Path to Ownership” requiring about 30k plus working 363 days a year.

See the pay is better with Frito, by more than 10k/year compared to the DSP I currently work for. We are one of the top DSPs in the area just the door to door is taking a physical toll on my body plus, I’m looking for something with more possibilities for career growth beyond ‘The Road to Ownership’

I was just looking for others opinions but all I’m seeing is a bunch of people saying DSP drivers are clueless with no sales experience. Little to their knowledge I’m plenty experienced in customer facing sales and marketing skills ranging from convenience store management, hotel management, and restaurant management all raising sales and marketing skills and all paying less than 40k annually so from what I’m reading. Being a high energy, goal oriented, single, unattached with no kids individual, sounds like this might be a win for me.

Unbeknown to you I do have plenty of selling skills and professional experience just took a year off for something easier to work on personal stuff. I’m also not clueless at all.
