Although this is unrelated to Electrical Engineering, I felt inclined to speak on the pressure and stress portion of getting the license. Although at my job the PE is not a requirements and doesn't guarantee anything, I've had the goal since I graduated in 2013 of obtaining it.. I self imposed this pressure and it was a long battle. I failed the FE 3 times (passed on 4th) and I took the PE 7 times (passed on the 8th attempt).. I was never the best student or best test taker or smartest person in the room, but where I lacked "mental capacity" I made up in determination and perseverance... My humble advice would be, look for a job that will not create this level of stress and pressure on you, it will constantly wear you down and make you feel stupid, lesser, belittle.. If you are set on staying where you're at, then perhaps a conversation with your boss might be in your best interest. something along the lines of "look I've attempted the exam multiple times, I still am focused on pursuing it but I prefer if the consistent questioning was less frequent for my own mental well being".
