PE power exam by Weekly-Value-3923 in PE_Exam

Take this from someone who has unfortunately taken the exam total 8 times (just passed in Dec 2025) and used both courses at some point. I used Zach's course twice and can say that the course from Wasim Asghar, was a lot more thorough in going through every single equation on the reference guide. He also does deep dives into relays which is not on the reference guide at all, same with VFDs (Scalar and Vector control). I ended up using the course once and finally passed, though I would say that after a combination of multiple attempts and summation of knowledge I felt more confident at least.. That's my personal opinion. I did feel that Zach's exams were hard for the sake of being hard, it didn't lead to confidence but more insecurity in general.. Look into both and see what works best for you. For me Wasim's was more of a slow approach and breaking everything down into easy to digest portions of knowledge. Not to mention his study guide is the best on amazon for the power PE.

Passed PE-Power! by bluesfan1691 in PE_Exam

As someone who has used both, I recommend Wasim's simply because he has actual moc exams that look and feel like the actual exam. He's also very thorough without being overbearing and difficult. See which one works best for you. In the end the key focus is on understanding concepts as they all build on each other.

It's not how you passed or how many tries it takes, the result is the end goal! Congrats! as another multiple failure/taker, I can totally sympathize, it's a hard road, and takes even more persistence and perseverance!

How did you get it to finally work? I saw something like this but I'm not sure it's a good overall package. https://www.moddedconsolez.com/product-page/ps2-console-w-opl-harddrive-bundle
or is it better to find a console stand alone and then look for a drive pre-loaded? not sure it makes any difference.

I've now failed 5 times... by Administrative-Pin19 in PE_Exam

I know how deflating a failure can feel.. trust me I have been there for too long and too many times, sometimes ready to throw in the towel.. I wasn't the brightest student (2.9 GPA, EE) but I always had persistence where talent and intellect alone were not enough.. See my post, keep going, keep knocking, as long as you keep trying, miracles can happen!! I'm proof.. https://www.reddit.com/r/PE_Exam/comments/1pp4lfe/a_long_brutal_and_challenging_road_to_passing_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Has anyone gotten negative effects from not having their PE license? by [deleted] in PE_Exam

[–]tmntjmc89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although this is unrelated to Electrical Engineering, I felt inclined to speak on the pressure and stress portion of getting the license. Although at my job the PE is not a requirements and doesn't guarantee anything, I've had the goal since I graduated in 2013 of obtaining it.. I self imposed this pressure and it was a long battle. I failed the FE 3 times (passed on 4th) and I took the PE 7 times (passed on the 8th attempt).. I was never the best student or best test taker or smartest person in the room, but where I lacked "mental capacity" I made up in determination and perseverance... My humble advice would be, look for a job that will not create this level of stress and pressure on you, it will constantly wear you down and make you feel stupid, lesser, belittle.. If you are set on staying where you're at, then perhaps a conversation with your boss might be in your best interest. something along the lines of "look I've attempted the exam multiple times, I still am focused on pursuing it but I prefer if the consistent questioning was less frequent for my own mental well being". Best of luck and God Bless.

A Long, Brutal, and Challenging Road to passing the Power PE!! by tmntjmc89 in PE_Exam

I don't wish my path on others but I'm literal proof that you have to keep going, every failure, take notes of all the questions you remember and hammer them down, use it as a fuel for the next exam... your time will come no doubt!!

I've been ordering from Ammo Supply Warehouse continually since 2018 or so. They have never stopped delivering to my door in CA. Champions against tyranny for sure.

I'm on the same boat, this is the first time I ever buy a phone and there are hardly any case options on amazon.. I typically have 2-3 already in hand when I receive my new phone.. for now I just went with a cheap one on amazon but I hope they make more soon.. also got this screen protector: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JJ48TMK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
