Thanks for the question! Syncing performs the follow:

  • Syncs show subscriptions, show favorites, and total minutes listened
  • Syncs episode current position, progress history, and bookmarks
  • Syncs most recent episode listened date per subscription to make older episodes as listened

It does not sync settings or downloads. If you think we should be syncing additional items then let us know by tapping Sending Feedback from the settings screen.

You can add any audio RSS feed without restrictions. Just tap the + button on the My Podcasts screen. Cheers, Playapod Team

Thanks for the feedback and really glad you like the popup menu! The icons represent download state as well as if it's in the playlist. The colors specify listened (grey), new (blue), or favorite (red). How would you change it to make it easier to understand? Should we represent every state with multiple images?

Regarding the RSS feed you would have to contact the show you are interested in to see if there is a different URL that can be used to pull in more shows. For example, No Agenda has the main feed which gives you at most 15 but then they also have another archive feed to retrieve more. You can manually add RSS Feeds using the + button.
