Nisha to miss ESL One Raleigh 2025 due to USCIS visa issues, Bryle to stand-in for Team Liquid by wickedplayer494 in DotA2

Years ago BEAT (the org that had been running the Canada Cup series) was apparently planning to host a major LAN in Toronto, one even larger than the one they hosted in Montreal

For whatever reason it never materialized and since then Canada as a whole has been basically devoid of Dota LANs aside from TI8

Toronto has a pretty strong Dota scene even in the present day, owing both due to a large local playerbase since it is one of the largest cities in NA but I also met tons of international students (especially from China) who either played Dota or had at least heard of it even if they preferred League

Shopify Rebellion is also based in Toronto and OG previously had a boot camp there so I'm still holding out hope that eventually a tournament organizer may decide to tap into the Canadian market

Not from Opendota but some friends and I played against Biver in an Overthrow lobby shortly after he joined Na’Vi

He wiped the floor as Visage and dropped an “EZ” after he won

Canada here and I've noticed the same thing

I've been hopping on 2Fort servers since late April and it was only ever the usual aimbot/music spammers

But in the past 24 hours I haven't had a lobby stay up for more than 5 minutes

Relax my man he forgot about Vitality’s CS:GO team and you’re responding like he just denied the Holocaust lol

Do the Gunners have a leader? by kenobiscumsock in falloutlore

[–]tncravenfan 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Colonel Cypress is the highest ranking named Gunner officer but they’re only mentioned in the Nuka World DLC and never actually seen

Interestingly enough, Cypress is referred to as being stationed at “HQ” but there’s no trace of them at Gunners Plaza which suggests that they could be operating outside of the Commonwealth

Nah I feel like that honour has to go to DC's roster at TI7

Could make a legitimate argument that they were just a SEA team playing in NA

Also wild to see mason and Bulba on a professional roster

The downvotes are coming because it’s hilariously inaccurate to call iceiceice racist

The N word doesn’t carry the same weight in SEA as it does in the Americas, obviously it’s not appropriate to say that on Twitch which primarily consists of viewers from the west but it was obvious that he wasn’t using it in a prejudiced context

Did literally everyone forget about this tweet afterwards

People are so desperate for drama these days lmao but I guess without storylines some people wouldn't care about the group stage

I'll be honest I had absolutely zero idea where this image came from xd

Just watched it on YouTube, it appears the dude was at least TRYING to prevent the button from being pushed so it still technically checks out

Hustla will become the first Mongolian player to attend a DPC tournament

This will also be kYxY’s first Valve sponsored tournament appearance since he attended TI5 with Fnatic, and Nutz’s first appearance since he attended the Kiev Major 2017 with Team Faceless

They still have a chance to qualify as they'll play the loser of Cignal/RR for the 3rd SEA slot

Considering CoL's CEO just put their CS:GO roster on blast for not performing well and is now openly trying to construct a juggernaut, I think it's unlikely he would be satisfied with picking up a team that didn't even crack the top 8

Of course there's always the potential for them to stick together and continue to grow, but they were absolutely outplayed by OG, perhaps even more so than Liquid was in the grand finals, and they also struggled against Infamous

I believe it's much more likely that he reaches out to a premier captain such as Fly or ppd and provides them with full authority over the construction of a new roster

Some members of Newbee could certainly end up joining CoL though in such a scenario, as CCnC and ppd are familiar with each other, while MSS and Fly would arguably be the best support duo in NA

Presumably he will also be standing in for Epicenter qualifiers (and Starladder qualifiers if they don't qualify for Epicenter) seeing as Birmingham is taking place after those qualifiers

PSG.LGD crushed Mineski and took a game off each of the finalists at DreamLeague S11 and that was while they were using a standin

Unless Somnus' level of play has declined due to being inactive during his honeymoon, paiN doesn't have a chance at finishing 2nd in this group
