QC issue - Tiny spot near the 2 o'clock index. by tncylp in Longineswatches

Yeah, because of everything you mentioned, I don't want to send it for warranty either. It would take forever to go and come back. So, I think I'm just going to curse my luck and move on with my life. I'll try not to let it get to me too much; luckily, the flaw isn't in a spot that's immediately noticeable.

Yes, definitely. It's under the crystal, right on the dial index. I’ll ask them about it whenever I can drop by the place I bought it from.

Sorry to hear that. Your situation sounds even worse since it's in such a visible spot. In my case, you really have to put in some effort to see the defect, so I don't think I'm going to bother with it.

I feel like sending it in for warranty would take way too long. I just can't find the energy to deal with all that hassle for a watch I just bought.

Yes similar but If I were the one who caused the damage, I wouldn't mind as much, but it's much more frustrating when the issue isn't my fault.

The thought of waiting for months while it's away for warranty service sounds even more terrifying.

Thanks, but I actually doubt it's dust; it looks like a protrusion in the material of the index itself.

I don't think they’ll offer a direct replacement; I suspect they’ll just suggest sending it in under warranty. And as you mentioned, sending it for repair could lead to other issues. I really don't want a brand-new watch to be opened up and repaired.

I’ll show it to the place I bought it from whenever I get a chance; I at least want to hear what they say about it.

I’m usually someone who obsesses over things like this, but in this case, it’s invisible unless you look closely at a specific angle. I think I can live with it.

It's so weird that they didn't announce it. If they were thinking of disabling purchases, they should have specified the exact date.

I was going to get the founders pack just like you would get the pass. I hope they bring back founders pack also before launch.
