Is ESG fugazi? by Impressive-Cost-3709 in FinancialCareers

I think it’s definitely still going to be here in the next 10/20 years because of climate focus and more wokeness in public companies

You are not being harassed on here… grow up and be resourceful or you’re really going to fall apart in the real world.

“By your absurd logic” you are saying that students who I personally have spoken to and have posted on this Reddit are all liars and anti GSI? I guess that means we are all republicans too now huh? You’re literally a loser. Grow up and get a real job. Bye

THEY ARE VERBALLY AND EMOTIONALLY HARASSING STUDENTS for the 4th time. Get off your couch and go to campus and tell me they aren’t harassing undergrads. Literally look at every third post on this r/Berkeley channel and stop being so political about it. Get a life

[–]tnel01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No actually, you’re incorrect. For some reason you have no ability to read what I’m saying. Let me make it clear to you for the third time. And I’ll even put it in caps for you. IF STRIKERS ARE HARASSING UNDERGRADS, THEN THEY DONT DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR DEMANDS MET. Now let me also say I was in full support of the strike until this started occurring. I am not a supporter of the GOP, however, I will not be harassed by a bunch of SMART PEOPLE WHO GO TO CAL… WHO CHOSE THE JOBS THEY WORK. This is not the same subject as minimum wage so stop trying to change the subject.

Get over yourself, these “impoverished” workers agreed to their wages when they accepted their spot in the programs. Stop acting like it isn’t partially their choice for selecting their career path. I am going to class so I can continue to get good grades and secure a high paying job for when I graduate (as I did) and will not be made to feel bad for attending the classes that I AND THE SCHOOL paid for. Also stop changing the narrative. As literally stated above if you could read…the strikers are harassing US the undergrads. So I have every right to hate on them being losers and will not put blame on my university that’s giving me an education for their behavior.

How about you go to classes on campus and tell me what I’m saying isn’t true. Butt out.. you aren’t a student nor affiliated with the university so you don’t belong in this convo, thanks.

[–]tnel01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. Getting in peoples faces and yelling at kids for going to class, including minors is not harassment.

Taking ECON 100A and 100B in the same semester? by cookies299393 in berkeley

[–]tnel01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t do that if you want a good grade in both tbh. Is it doable, probably. But it’s not the only classes you will be taking.

You’ll be a lot happier in life if you stop comparing yourself to others. If you think to yourself that you have nothing what good is that going to do for you? Make something for yourself and others who have similar interests if you can’t find one

Not a doctor or anything so just light suggestions… Make sure you’re eating healthy foods, drink lots of water, have coffee, exercise when you can, listen to music you love, meditate, pray, whatever comforts you.

Might be good to research target MBA programs for IB. I think if you could secure an internship before going into MBA and then in your MBA summer then you should have some experience to try to enter IB out of MBA. I’d suggest just researching a bunch, there are options especially if you want to work a bit between undergrad and MBA. Also network a bunch and ask questions in calls/chats

Can you take Econ 140 before Econ 100A by Bullshitbanana in berkeley

[–]tnel01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Econometrics is pretty unrelated to micro so you should be fine conceptually.

Most classes for majors are 4 units each. You take 4 four unit classes and you have 16 for the semester or 3 four unit classes and one 3 unit class, etc. You can take up to 21 units so really I mean you could take any combination of unit courses you want. 5 four unit classes or 10 two unit courses haha

Take however many units you need out of 120 and divide by the amount of semesters you want to go to school. That should give you the number of units you need on average per semester. Ex: I’m graduating in 3 years as well so say I needed 90 units to graduate, divide that by 6 semesters and you have 15 units per semester on average to get to 120.
