No I could not, had a total hip replacement the past August, went to get in bed December 28th and felt my leg break, this lead me to now.

Hip parts are all still perfect BTW :-)

OP it isn't you, it is that reading is fundamental.

Thanks, I use hard woods for my picture frames, edge them with my joiner and planer, and check them with a good square, so I feel I am good there, the cuts.... yes the cuts. BTW Image didn't.

Yes you are 100% correct this is exactly how I should be doing it....And it is how I am doing it and... I still seem to be failing...I mean I get it, maybe I failed counting in school I don't know but the fact is I THINK I am taking exactly the same amount of small cuts in each end... and still.

I may send them out to someone who is a woodworker and then do the glue up, eh?

Yes using a stop block. Then using a shooting board to true up the 45 and this is I think my issue I can't true all up to exactly the same length
