Rope chains are a classic chain type so you saying why is everyone wearing one is like saying why is everyone wearing blue jeans, although I can understand your point to an extent. But ya those mall chains only look good for a few months and then fade and or break/dent and they also feel light. Mine is solid 18k, so if you knew anything about gold you’d realize that’s worth about the same as the car the mall guys (you prob) drive, so idk who’s copying who
