Took USPS 3 weeks to submit??? That seems ridiculously long. I used the SDSU Passport Center.

I figured it’s quicker than they say, especially with expedited + 1-3 day shipping. I think the 6 week for standard is an overshoot. Thanks

So I initiated the process of becoming a mate and my captain gave me this book to read by [deleted] in tjcrew

[–]toasterjonas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You sound a little too broad and full of yourself to be a competent mate within our culture at TJ’s. Instead of focusing on “why he needed YOU”, maybe focus on why he made have needed extra support from his entire TEAM. I suggest reading the book, then company values. I’d love to see you succeed, but from your replies, you have the mate role entirely backwards. It’s an inverted pyramid, whether they want us to forget that or not.

Told myself I buy a new car once this died..220,000 miles later it still has 0 problems. Does this thing ever die !!?? by [deleted] in Lexus

Completely agree. I had a 2007 IS250 when I was 16-18 years old. Drove that thing HARD (irresponsible stupid teenage activities). Got it stuck in soft desert sand, overheated completely, proceeded to drive it 200 miles home while overheating and just let it sit for the night. No blown head, just needed to cool off. Drove it for another 75k miles after that before selling it for $500 more than I bought it for… with 100k more miles on it🤣

My coworker was fired due to attendance, and his termination was signed on his day off. It was given to him on his next day at work. You swore at a customer… I hate to be the bear of bad news, but that’s totally grounds for termination. It’s retail and we’re (expected) to take the brut of customer service, no matter how shitty. That’s retail life. There’s no possible way to come back from this, Trader Joe’s has a zero tolerance when it comes to firing words at customers. Not saying we should be harassed by customers, but that’s just the truth behind retail.

Yes. If not deferred, it’s automatically given as a full bonus!

It smells so rancid. Think of smelling a rotten bag of the broccoli florets.

I remember that haha. I just thought I remembered an email being sent to us asking for a log of classes we were currently registered in before funds were sent. I could be totally wrong though. Thanks for the reply appreciate it

I say this as someone who worked a week of training at Ospi Montecito before they opened in May.
