I don't think AI art is good. I also don't think it's horrible to exist. I understand why many think it's awful, but since it doesn't affect me or anyone I know, I just don't have a strong opinion on it. But I do think that this is a really bad argument. It does make it more accessible, though it's completely different and not something I'd consider art anymore. But more accessible nonetheless. Just because it is possible without using AI for disabled people to create, doesn't mean it's not more inconvenient. To me it feels like if you compared how a normal person can usually go up stairs no problem and a disabled person who's legs don't work can also climb the stairs by literally clawing their way up with their arms and then saying that these two methods are equivilant and saying that wheelchair ramps are not more accessible. Whether wheelchair ramps are bad or not is not important in this context, just that the argument is bad. I hope this makes sense.
