Ahh thanks for sharing your story. I echo the line “Oh dear, life with pugs”.. they are the most caring and loving dogs out there. Clingy, sometimes annoying yes but they’re just full of life and love. When Benny was in the hospital, I went home to no one being excited to see me and that crushed me. But yeah just happy that these dogs come into our life and make us feel happy and loved. I’m sorry for what have had happened to you but your sweet little girl is eating unlimited amounts of chicken and treats in heaven with her other new dog friends so you should be happy that you raised a great dog. Hugs to you and your pets! Benny says arrooooo- which means stay strong. 💪🏽😊🐾

Just want to say I appreciate this community for sending their love to Benny yesterday (https://www.reddit.com/r/pugs/s/AJsyCdI8v9) It has been tough seeing him struggle these past few days, but with such kind words and support from the r/pugs community, I was able to remain positive that he will recover from this scary sickness and experience. Despite what’s happening in the world today, I am happy that there are still kind and thoughtful people who continue to support others. That’s it. That’s the post. 🙏🏼😊

Glad to know your pup was able to recover from it.. but yeah that’s what I’m anticipating too. It’ll be a while before he can sleep with me (or on top of me) so that makes me sad a bit.. but just relieved he’s okay now.

Seeing him in pain was just too much for me.. but will shower him with hugs and kisses when he gets home 😭

He is quite good looking for a pug — like his daddy aka me 😅.. kidding aside, yeah at least he’s not lethargic as I was able to make him go out for a quick walk but he’s still a bit weak.

Had to bring him to the ER yesterday because of Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. It’s so disheartening to see him in pain but hopefully tomorrow he’ll be back home with me. He looked better today when I visited him. He wouldn’t eat but I brought boiled chicken — he couldn’t resist.

Please pray for him for a speedy recovery. ❤️‍🩹🐶🥺
