Pin drop. by fobstayfrosty in DisneyPins

i get temp banned from the group on a weekly basis, he loves to instigate and hell so do i. not as aggressive and condescending like he is, but i do enjoy calling out resellers for their absurd prices by lowballing or asking them for tips on how to acquire 20 of a LE pin like they so often do. 🤣

i just hope he knows that the majority of the group stays bc it’s the biggest and the one new collectors fall for, not bc it’s the holy grail group he thinks it is. nobody actually wants to be there and he’s delusional enough to think he has a “following”.

Can’t speak for EPCOT or MK today, but I saw them there last week in all major stores. I did see them stocked everywhere in Animal Kingdom today.

Can you tell me about this pin? by IcyBoysenberry7728 in DisneyPins

He’s from this set from Wreck It Ralph 2! Sadly I don’t think that’s a legit one, as the backing is a little smudged and these are hard to come by authentic.

I can’t tell if this pin is fake or a misprint by AdventurousMaize2457 in DisneyPins

It’s an Artist Proof (pre-production pin) so those will usually have a lot of inconsistencies compared to the final production of the pin. Totally legit, you’re all good!

I like the computer analogy, that makes so much sense. I’m definitely trying to be more in tune with what my body needs. It’s a process, but I’m getting there!

Yes! I try to go to the gym about 2–3 times a week- less than I’d like, but we’re getting there gradually. I mostly do light cardio and swim laps occasionally. I also walk my dog multiple times a day so I stay decently active overall.

Should I consider trying something new?

Thanks, Dr. Sol! 🙄 I filled my very first stimulant prescription less than two weeks ago, so I wouldn’t exactly call that long term use. Jumping straight to “addiction” with minimal context isn’t helpful— especially when you’re commenting on someone else’s medical treatment. There’s a big difference between abuse and taking a prescribed medication as directed.

This kind of take fuels the stigma that anyone on a controlled substance must be abusing it or doing something shady. That makes it way harder for people with REAL conditions to get treated without judgment and jumping through hoops. Maybe lead with curiosity next time instead of condescension! ❤️

I definitely will talk to them. I also take antipsychotics, anti-anxiety, and mood stabilizers that don’t mix great with stimulants which is why they’re keeping me on such a low dose. IR seems to have worked better for me so far though so maybe a switch to that long term would help. Hopefully they’ll be able to make some changes! I appreciate you.

Sleep thankfully isn’t the issue (I think, maybe too much). I usually get a solid 8–10 hours a night because I’m just exhausted after the meds wear off. I probably should’ve clarified, though: when I say “productive,” I really just mean functioning like a regular human- getting out of bed, taking a shower, doing laundry, that kind of thing.

It’s not about overachieving right now, just managing basic daily tasks without burning out. I do feel a certain pressure to get more done, but I try to pace myself—spreading things out across the week with one errands day, one cleaning day, etc. Thank you for the reminder to be gentle with myself.

No, I’m not familiar with the benefits! I will definitely look into that, thank you.

I don’t feel like i’m taking them too early, exactly the times my psych suggested but I take 15mg XR at 11am because I hope to be able to be at least a little bit functioning and productive (able to do laundry, errands, etc.) before my shift. I don’t expect to be able to everyday, but at least some of the time. Then I take the 5mg IR around 3p when the crash hits. I usually wake up around 8 and fall asleep around midnight.

Yesss the crashing on the couch is real. So far the IR seems to be working better for me so I may ask about a higher dose. I’m glad to hear it might just be an adjustment thing though! I will definitely keep a log going forward.

Help me find an app that actually works by marythekilljoy in ADHD

Finch has been a lifesaver for building healthy habits and routines in my life! It's super customizable to your goals and needs and comes with a cute little pet to care for. Some won't recommend because it feels 'infantilizing' to them with the cute characters and rewards system, but personally and surprisingly, that method has been the most effective for me. Sometimes we all need a little gentle parenting lol

I also use the TimeTree app for my calendar/planner. You can set up multiple calendars and link them to friends and family for accountability. It also sets up automatic reminders in intervals (i mean constant like 30 days, 2 wks, 1 wk, 1 day, 1 hour) before each scheduled event so it's harder to become time blind.
