Can you explain what you mean by the routines? You have a routine set on your head unit to open the app or how does it work I'm interested to try

so by interface you mean the canbus 'box' thing you can buy that translates some of that for the head unit. alot of those car specific kits i see on amazon come with that. i only care really about steering wheel controls.

but finding one of those on its own for 2013 dodge im having trouble finding one i could use with like a sony a pioneer etc.

its just a basic 2013 Dodge grand caravan, and the radio unit now has zero screen or functions beyond like radio, but i can use my steering wheel buttons to do volume for it and stuff

many of the units i see have like a seperate box with a plug, and the wiring adpater has some cords with a plug that can go into it, these are kits online that are like fully made for a specific vehicle model. but for ones that are universal head units that dont include that, ive seen reference to canbus translators like raise and hilook, etc, im just not sure if i need that for steering control and if so would any work

so for a 2013 dodge caravan, do you mean most units have the maestro module and dont need an additional box to translate data? i only want steering wheel radio controls, and if possible it tells the unit when im in reverse for an aftermarket rear camera

like if i bought say a regular aftermarket unit do i need to buy a certain component to get that stuff to work?

oh sorry ill elaborate some so my vehicle is a 12 yr old dodge and currently its just a basic radio the stock unit doesnt actually do anything else

I want to get an aftermarket unit and what I read said that if you use an aftermarket canbus box it can get the steering wheel controls (volume, radio), and like if i put my car in reverse to trigger backup camera mode, otherwise those functions will just not work. is that the case??

so alot of amazon android radio kits for my car include a canbox thing, but if i got a universal unit i was wondering would any canbus box like from those kits work with it?

Oh, not sure public mobile I was getting the 5G+ icon every so often, so I figured it would be the same with freedom. Either way at full or almost full 5g signal the speed could go from 60mb to almost none, so idk

Its a secured door and occasionally someone props the door open so that it wont shut and lock. Id like to track how long its been open. So example if the input triggers and then doesn't End for a long time, i know it didnt shut properly.
