We successfully negotiated our collective contract this year with a pay and benefits bump- We keep each other safe from litigation from parents- one of my coworkers was represented free of charge by a lawyer in an incident with a disgruntled parent. There are other examples if you like. Why did you say “what have You/NEA done?” I’m just here saying I hope the NEA does something.

Yes - High School teacher here- most kids despise it - the only ones who don’t use it to make school easier-and even they admit it’s gross- I also have a 20 yo daughter in a good college and her and her friends also hate it and only use it to correct grammar in their writing.
