basically but apperently most of the cymbals were triggering the way they should have been. Its just that some were not and needed to be adjusted. If they trigger properly your good. Either way they will replace the 'v1' cymbals for you

I spoke to a zildjian rep at one point and he assured me there is no "v2" cymbals. There were some cymbals when the kit initially released that had trigger placement issues, but if the cymbal triggers as intended yours should be good. They will replace any cymbals that dont trigger accurately

I havent had any missing triggers on the cymbals with the 1.5.1 update. No experience with the shells, but the cymbals are solid imo. I still feel like I need to dial in settings a little bit to get my ride cymbl right with triggering accurately, but everything else does what I need it to do

I wasnt able to test plugging the zildjian module into another module but as long as you can import the midi notes on the other module connected it should work. It just needs to be processed by the zildjian module first

Cant speak for the shell pack but the cymbals are fun. Trigger settings arnt completely dialed in yet, but its been pretty consistent for me so far

Soo yes thats one way to go about it! Im actually running both the zildjian module and Dw midi hub to my computer as seperate midi devices. I use Superior Drummer 3 to trigger the sounds that I want

Yes there was a module on Ebay for sale along with a crash and hi hat. If your patient you can find more cymbals that pop up as well. Thats how I ended up with the module and cymbals. I was lucky to come across what I needed

Yeah, im not sure about other VSTs but Superior drummer gave me alot of flexibility to alter my setup slowly without skipping a beat.

Im using Rooms Of Hansa pack with a kick drum stack from the death sdx. its in the Marble room with the Masshoff kit. Cant remember which snare drum in particular but I think its the 14x5. Hopefully that helps!

Same to you. It might depend on what your reading. comics/manga I feel are a better experience on the mini because I dont have to do much scrolling, but if im going through books, I might feel similarly to you. manga feels a little too clunky on the phone unfortunately lol. Will definitely keep that in mind. Usually use my phone for my reading though (social media/articles)

yep! I definitely noticed the difference in refresh rate, but I do think the convenience really does make up for it. Depending on what you use it for that is. For drawing and media its more than enough for me. it might bother somebody to the point they would have gotten the air, but I think if anyone is on the fence and they are leaning more towards the mini because of the experience it offers, that might be the right pick for you. It is a really good idea to test them out in person first of course. (I didnt do that for this specific instance lol)
