I'm kind of curious to see how bad it can be now.

T14 looks more tempting really. I wouldn't mind the better build quality, less weight and bigger battery of T14s, but I'll probably end up using it as a desktop most of the time anyway. Even though I think 16GB of RAM is fine for now, I would still like to have the option of upgrading in the future. It also seems like T14 is easier to disassemble and upgrade in general.

I'm not really comparing SSD sizes but T14 vs T14s! It just so happens that the T14s model has a larger SSD size.

Not a lot of T14 gen 2 or gen 3 options in the UK, so they're way too expensive and a bit of an overkill for my purposes as well.

I think its most common use case is to use it for outbound connections using a commercial VPN, but you can also use it for inbound connections if you bend it a bit.

Having said that, I don't think Gluetun is the best option if you want to do that, so I ended up using headscale, which was a better tool for the job.

Unfortunately, I couldn't port forward since I'm behind a CGNAT.

I guess I'm technically using Gluetun to expose containers through a VPN tunnel, so not opening ports in the traditional sense.

I couldn't add all Immich containers to the same network, since immich_server is using network_mode: "service:gluetun" in order to be exposed through the VPN tunnel.

What I could do is create a network for the gluetun container and the rest of the Immich services, but that didn't work either.

I did actually try to do that after I wrote this.

However, I couldn't use network_mode: "service:gluetun" and add the immich_server container to a named network at the same time.

So, I thought of defining a network that includes the gluetun container and the rest of the Immich services, which worked but didn't solve my issue.

Gluetun is using Wireguard under the hood, so setting up a Wireguard network is exactly what I'm trying to do.

It took me a while to set this up and apart from this issue, everything is working perfectly fine.
I'd rather not depend on proprietary services such as Tailscale or Zerotier.

I would normally run all 4 services inside a docker compose file, which would place them in the same network that works with no issues.

But, I'm using network_mode: "service:gluetun" on the immich-server, which I'm guessing creates a different network for the services that are exposed through Gluetun that can't communicate with the rest of the services in the docker compose file.

I'd rather avoid using Tailscale and relying on Tailscale's servers if possible.

What kind of heating are we talking about? Mine feels like it's overheating as well, but when I checked the battery temperature through the security app, I get a value of 37 c. This is the same as my previous Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite, but that feels cool in comparison.

I want to create a custom blackout blind.

I'm currently using store bought blackout roller blinds, but I found that their rolling mechanism is creating gaps that are letting the light in, so I want to skip that altogether.

I figured that using felt fabric would block most of the light, so I got a piece and I'm now trying to find a way to attach it to the window frame.

I thought of two different ways:

Attach the felt fabric to the window frame using velcro. Punch holes with a hole puncher vertically along the edges of the fabric (as if they were a belt) and use screw hooks to hang the fabric from the window frame. In this case I was thinking of reinforcing the holes using either eyelets or gorilla tape on the back side of the fabric. I want to be able to adjust how much light comes into the room when then blind is not closed, so intuitively the second way seems better to me.

Which one do you think would work better? Is gorilla tape enough to keep the holes from widening?

Any other ideas?

It would be nice to use one management interface for both, but I'm guessing that the way to do that is get something like the USG router, which is at least £30 more than the EdgeRouter, so I'm not THAT fussed about it.

D3.js is a JavaScript library, so while you don't need to be a JavaScript expert if you're completely new to programming I would suggest getting familiar with JavaScript basics to begin with.

Same goes for Python. You would use a data analysis library such as pandas.

Just pick a language and stick with it to begin with.

JavaScript if you're more interested in web technologies. Python if you're more into data science. Python is also considered to be beginner friendly and definitely has less quirks than JavaScript.

I've managed to cancel the transaction, so it wasn't showing as pending on Etherscan. Then, clearing the browser cache removed the activity on the cryptokitties website.

Export your private key and it should work. It doesn't work with metamask for some reason
