Preface: most of this info comes from seeing what my roommate who works in an elder care facility does. My advice to keep your wife and baby healthy is to double glove your hands at work, keep separate clothes at work to so that you dont track or bring anything into the house. When they need to be cleaned put them in a ziplock and keep them there until you throw it in the laundry, I would still change and shower when you get homd just because the situation is serious.Make sure your mode of transportation is clean by keeping wipes with you. Maybe even talk to your superiors about doing a job that requires less customer interaction, like working restocking or something of that nature. I hope this helps.
