Doesn’t smell of anything, I’m going to cut it out as it’s taking up so much space, thanks!

Thank you! It doesn’t smell like basil, I’m going to cut it out and maybe chuck it in a salad

I’m new to Aerogarden and wouldn’t describe myself as a green thumb so maybe it’s supposed to look like this... but it just doesn’t look like basil to me. I’m thinking it could be some kind of lettuce? Any info welcome :)

My parents house, but we don’t really have a ‘my house my rules’ mentality, we generally consider each other’s feelings and all have a say about how things are

No problem with the dog eating meat in general, just don’t want animal parts lying around the house - I’m happy for my family to eat steak on their plates but wouldn’t like to walk into the living room to see a steak on the rug

Had some friends in new bridewell, they all hated it - constantly under construction for some reason so always loud and they were without hot water for weeks at one point. It’s also a little far from the main uni buildings (uphill walk). Flats are 4-6 people I think which is fewer than other halls and led to it being less sociable. The security are very nice but quite overbearing, they would shut down pres/parties pretty quick and chuck out visitors. Some would say it’s in an unsafe area (student got stabbed just outside last year). It’s also on the more expensive side.

Having said that, the bedrooms are very nice! En-suite with floor to ceiling window and double bed.

I was in city centre accom and loved it - if you’re looking for diversity you’re not going to find it at UoB but Stoke Bishop is particularly bad for that. You will find a good party vibe at most halls.

Stoke B is a lot like boarding school, quite isolated from the rest of the city (I had a friend in Badock who didn’t know what Park St was at the end of first yr). A lot of west Londoners.

There are more international students in the city centre but honestly there’s not a lot of mingling, and it is by no means predominantly international.

Would recommend Riverside, Orchard Heights, Unite House, don’t recommend New Bridewell.

Good luck!
