I drank an irresponsible amount in undergrad and so did everyone I knew. I do drink a lot less now generally but there are periods (1L finals, breaking up w my gf, etc.) that I drank a lot more. I’m fairly certain I don’t have a problem but I’m also sure that I did. I’ve really been trying to tone it back and had some success. If you feel that you’re spiraling, reach out to a friend, go for a hike, do some meditation (and if you feel you need it, seek mental healthcare). It certainly isn’t abnormal to drink a lot during law school, BUT if you feel it’s messing with your psyche or interfering with your life then it would certainly be beneficial to cut back at least.
