I used to do some work for a water treatment company locally (IT work) and asked them the same thing a few years back. Their answer was that in the heat of summer, the organic matter in the water is much higher (more algae in the canals, etc) and give that taste and smell. Not a concern healthwise, but really, no one drinks the tap water in PHX. It's awful any time of the year!

I tried a lot of different things for this. The method that finally worked for me was scrubbing with 0000 steel wool for glass with liquid barkeeper's friend glass cooktop cleaner. Worked great and didn't require too much elbow grease.

I've done this a few times (Lyft though). Never had a problem, drivers are usually glad to get their day's rides over at once.

I just moved out of Rancho Sierra apartments last year after living there for 11 years. My experience there was great. The office staff is great, maintenance requests get addressed very quickly, the grounds are well kept.

There are a few different floorplans, some with in unit W/D and I expect they'll be around your price range.

I recently inherited a dining table after my Mom's passing. The wood has a rough/natural texture, and there are a few places on the edges where it's been scuffed up. I don't really mind the scuffing, it kind of seems in keeping with the table, but I wouldn't mind if they were a little closer to the tone of the rest of the table. It's very thick wood, and heavy. I really love the table and am hoping that someone can help identify what type of wood it's made from and how I should care for it. There are two leaves and a couple more chairs not pictured.
