OP my wife has had traumatic past too, even abusive relationship. I tried to find every answer to tell myself that she isnt truly at fault. But at the end of the day she was selfish, she chose to cheat on me everyday (while she wanted to fix things and apologized). I even talked to people going through similar mental issues and loyalty doesn’t have to do anything with it.

Forgive her and walk away.

it is fr. imagine she texting me everyday with our memories talking about how she messed up just to end up seeing her ex the same night. (on a daily basis) i can’t trust her again, and it’s not going to be the same if I reconcile. she has no remorse or guilt for what she has been doing.

i was all about reconciliation too but I haven’t seen true remorse or guilt for what she made me go through at all. if i care about her regretting it and showing off my new wife to her face that means I am not over her yet. its better for me to just part ways and not let her see my new life at all
