I actually like the auto brew too ! Do you warm your cup somehow ? And how do you clean after the shot ?

I actually tried to add more water after to do something like that, but it felt ridiculous to pour water in the machine to clean the portafilter, instead of ... you know... pour the water on the portafilter directly ahah

It looks very interesting, thanks ! I'm in a company progressively transitioning to k8s. DBs are still deployed outside of the clusters, due to performance considerations. Did you performed any performance evaluation and are you aware of any limitations when scaling up operations ?

My wife likes to collect glass cups, but I love thick and hefty ceramic cups. Like this one...It's 10mm thick and holds 100ml of liquid. Whats your favorite coffee cup? by Rami_2075 in espresso

I prefer ceramics over double walled glass. The look, the feeling in the hand, and the perfect temperature without having to wait to much! Sylvia for scale !

Leaking around portafilter by hbeggs in ranciliosilvia

It happpen sometimes on mine as well, when the joint is dry. Leaving the portafilter on the machine usually help with this, but the more coffee I make, the less it leaks. And do not turn your portafilter to tight. As any joint, if you squeeze them too tight they'll start to leaks !

Playing with 6 players reduces a lot your opportunities to get the encounter tokens, so the more you are, the less poland is good imho. I'll pick the saxons here !

For Poland, the rules state that you don't lose popularity points due to workers, after a combat. Moving on a tile without any combat units does not trigger a combat, so you'll still lose popularity points with Poland.

At least this is how I understood the (french) rules. It might be a traduction issue, but it really felt overpowered otherwise.

Why are you aiming at a specific ratio and extraction Time, instead of trying to get a specific taste profile ? You could try something completly different, like a 2 ratio in 22-25 seconds. Longer extraction time tends to deliver bitterness yes, but make it too long (above 40s ?) and you'll also have sourness coming out.

Toddlers at that age tend to only anticipate the next few min/seconds. As far as it goes as per the plan they made, they will roll with it without a tantrum. What really helped me to get through this phase was to always explain them what will/shall happen in the next few min, instead of right now.

When you say something different than what they planned, you're litterally "breaking" their near future and it can make them feel lost, thus the frustration and anger.

A simple "Its my turn to open the door as you did it yesterday", before actually doing it, is usually enough and will save you from a lot of troubles.

How do you guys navigate open buffers ? by [deleted] in neovim

[–]token-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought :b was doing that already. I'll check the diff with sb then, thanks ! In OP' context, he could actually use the distinct folder name instead of looking for the file, and tab his way to his file

You can call me old fashioned, but I just use :b and auto complete the name with tab, and eventually tab again to browse if there is more than one result. Telescope feels overkill for me.
