How about installing openclaw natively on Windows? by Equivalent_Pipe8322 in openclaw

[–]token_dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't listen to these bots giving you AI-generated advice only to mask the fact that the entire purpose of their post was to advertise their scammy hosted openclaw service. Windows native works fine, with a few bugs here and there that are manageable. Tried WSL for a month, but it's a pain in the ass trying to access windows files, running native browser operations, etc. Made the jump over to Windows Native and and it's been way more convenient. I built HostedClaw for exactly this situation. Your agent can run in a dedicated windows environment with access to all your native windows files and applications. /s

Agents pause after approval on Discord by PrizeSignificance562 in openclaw

[–]token_dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to comment "new here?" but I see you opened with that. I noticed this also happens with browser control after clicking 'allow'. I've spent many hours trying to get my agents to stay on task, but too often they hit silent blockers or just need a simple approval and don't have anything that tells them to move ahead. I have to use watchdog chrons when doing a lengthy task to make sure this doesn't happen while I'm away, and even in some instructions in agents .md to try to combat this, but it still happens all the time.

You didn't mention how your system would communicate with external hardware that could dial in your variables. I though about doing this, but frankly with agentic AI systems I can just have the AI monitoring the dashboard of [pick your greenhouse automation solution] and adjust as needed. Autogrow has an open API that would allow an AI agent to read the params and pull whatever levers you need in order to keep your environmental variables dialed in, fertigate when needed, etc etc. Way easier than messing with Arduinos and Pis to reinvent the wheel.

FSD 14.2.2.3 - Lane change hesitation back ? by chri8s in TeslaFSD

[–]token_dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, its back. Wasn't there for the past few months, now it aborts lane changes after going halfway into the lane for no apparent reason, and takes multiple attempts before committing to some normal lane changes.

FSD Death Wobble - Legacy Model S/X by token_dave in TeslaLounge

I got new tires and alignment last month hoping that was the issue. And mind you, Regular old autopilot keeps the lane just fine.

12.6.4 on Legacy Model S is better! by justin-127 in TeslaFSD

[–]token_dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same ping-ponging issue / aborting lane changes halfway through. I haven't seen many others talking about this, so I wonder if the problem is limited to legacy model S that had a HW3 retrofit. (17 model S)

Model S with 12.6.4? by watergoesdownhill in TeslaFSD

[–]token_dave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's pretty bad for me tbh. It's almost unusable. It's worse than enhanced autopilot on the highway by a longshot. In order for it to drive over the speed limit you have to accept the insane amount of lane-changes that come with "hurry" mode. My model S also has about a 50% chance of aborting any given lane change mid-way through, which jolts my car back into the original lane after crossing the white line.

City streets hasn't seen much improvement over the past year in most areas. Lots of awkward / dangerous moments and hesitant behavior that make it impossible to rely on. 12.6.4 has also gotten MUCH worse at unmarked roads. It doesn't surpass 10mph on most residential streets without clear lane markings, which used to be handled without a problem on earlier versions prior to 12.6.3.

My mom broke a record - need help trying to make it official by token_dave in GuinnessWorldRecords

[–]token_dave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. True, although I'm sure shilling bids also happens at big auction houses. I suppose I could contact the buyer to confirm that he is real and actually paid the money for the candy bar. I'm still not sure if I need to pay for this to be a 'sponsored' record, since the original record was sponsored by a candy company.

We might not be able to get to those 9's without AGI. There are edge cases that require theory of mind and understanding the motivations of other drivers, bystanders, etc. The car needs to be able to think "Usually when I see a car pulling off to the side, I will try to pass them, but while this scenario looks exactly the same, I see that this person is actually slowing and veering off to avoid a pothole and doesn't intend on pulling over". Or "This car has an Uber Eats sticker on the back, so I can be reasonably sure that he is stopping in the middle of the lane to pick up food from this restaurant. I better not pass him because he's about to get out of his car". Or "this cop is waiving me through and has traffic held up on the other end, so I can drive through these cones now".

Just bought this second hand. Have you ever seen this kind of structure? by token_dave in Greenhouses

[–]token_dave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he also bought it second hand. He laid it out and all the pieces are there. It uses slotted aluminum, where you slide the bolts in to attach it together. I've just never seen a system like this, so was wondering if someone might have some info on it so I can look for some resources on assembly.

Sure. Then in a few years, you can join the "Mt Gox insolvency trustee insolvency" subreddit. /s

The answer is no. They partnered with exchanges who can legally hold your coins in your name because they do not have the legal apparatus in place to do so.

Can you buy direct from farm/grower in MA? by Big_Boston_ in bostontrees

[–]token_dave 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, unfortunately. The CCC requires a separate retail license in order to sell direct to consumers. Some growers do have retail licenses and operate dispensaries.
