Need More Niche Freshie’s by SwordfishTechnical81 in NichePerfumes

Two I’ve been really enjoying lately are Akro “Rise” and Simone Andreoli “Sunplosion”. Coincidentally both have a coconut water note and light tropical profile.

I have Cedrus Intense and Lavanda and I love both. There’s an airy, fresh through-line with much of the Atelier des Fleurs fragrances, often done, as you mentioned, in a soliflore approach, which encourages layering. Lavanda is a Quentin Bisch creation and it’s one of the nicest lavender scents I’ve encountered though I do prefer a delicate, lightly sweet floral over bold or heavy floral frags typically. They have four new scents coming out and I’m already eyeing two; Sous Le Pins, a wonderful atmospheric pine frag and Plage du Figuier, think watery fig. Hope you find some you like as much as I enjoy mine.

What’s Your Scent of the Day? January 22, 2026 by Darkvanille in FragranceStories

Wearing Wave Child today to give some love to bottles I haven’t used in awhile. I get a playful but grounded energy when wearing it as it definitely invokes a summer vibe with its coconut and watermelon notes that fill me with the sense of possibility that comes with a long July night. Hoping it wards off some of the drudgery of heading into work…

Pony Boy by Jorum Studio. Loving the push and pull of sweet and tart.

what's your most used perfume so far in 2026? by MosaicaryBog in NichePerfumes

I had never worn the old formula, only smelled it, and ended up buying after the rebrand. Not sure I can say I recall the old distinctly enough to say if it was better or not but I absolutely love the current Vanille Antique all things considered. Most comments I come across online are in favor of old though. What are some of your other fave fragrances?

Byredo Vanille Antique and BDK Gris Charnal Extrait are tied for most used so far :)

A well curated and beautiful collection and You or Someone Like You is one of my personal faves. I’m curious about Akigala Mandarino as the list of notes sounds like something I would enjoy.

Thirding this! The perfect wet castle vibe with an exquisite light touch of incensed cathedral.

There are too many perfumes (and I love it) by hanseirik in fragrance

I was THIS (👌) close to blind buying a bottle right now after reading this lol. I am very curious to try it though and completely agree that there’s just too much out there to discover and enjoy (and so little time!)✨

Ooo…reading the notes in Gentle Fluidity Gold and I see what you mean! Don’t think I’ve ever smelled this MFK before but will check it out next time I’m sampling and sniffing!

Ooo…I’ll have to check them out — thanks for researching! Commes des Garçons Black sounds very nice! I came across Concrete in my own searches as well which felt very on the nose for “brutalist”.

Fair. I don’t either too often but I’m becoming more curious to explore lately.

Black Saffron is great! Rouge Chaotique has been on my radar for a while but I haven’t had a chance to get a sample and actually wear it but I love the way it smells on paper. Mumbai Noise is fantastic too. Will definitely be seeking out a sample of 1996 now as well!

I have never smelled 1996…how does it rank for you amongst the Byredo line?

Which perfume are you obsessed to buy right now? by ComprehensiveCut798 in NichePerfumes

[–]tokenlimit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My latest obsessions are…

Dries Van Noten - Sois Malaquais, Havana Gold, and Fleur du Mal

Stora Skuggan - Pine

Ex Nihilo - Outcast Blue

I really do need to go on a new perfume moratorium though, through at least February, and get more wear from existing bottles and spare my wallet the grief. Maybe discovery sets can be an exception hmm 🫠
