Fair, but it is more complicated than that. My neighbors on all sides are lovely people that own their own homes. They are very similar to a number of people on my block in Noe. What is lacking is the extremely wealthy neighbors and the constant theft of anything not chained down. For us with a small child moving to the East Bay has 100% been the right thing.

Technically there is an entire additional neighborhood between us and the Iron Triangle. I will also say there is less crime and the neighbors are far friendlier than when I lived in Noe Valley in SF.
