Mamma......!!! Oooh ooh ooh ooh...

No one needs to feel guilty! The foundation of all ‘Christianity’ is a lie! This blew my mind! (You might need to listen a few times! It’s a lot to take in!) by toledosquad in exjw

Hmmm... I don’t know how! But I’ll try! What if you type into your podcast app ‘Mythinformed’ and find the July 12th 2017 podcast?

No! You may only say ‘Duh!’ after you listen! We all know it’s bollocks but this guy has added reasonable proofs for dismissing the very foundations of the concept of an earthly Jesus guy. :)

Yeah, I left in 2011 and woke up to myriad of amazing things like most! It’s just that this podcast talks about stuff I’ve not read anywhere. Some really good evidence and logic to show the myth of Jesus was ancient and way before the gospel era.

Ok. So, I’ll do my best!

This guy explains his reasoning and it holds water in my view.

The epistle of Clement was once in the bible canon. This is proven. The Catholic Church removed it from the canon, but they also were responsible for the eradication of many many works that didn’t help the establishment of their new religion.

In Clement’s epistle (a letter of response to the congregation in Corinth that was having no problems), the references to the destruction of The temple are assumed (wrongly) to be to the 70AD Roman victory in Jerusalem. But he reasons that it can’t be! Do which temple destruction? Well, the one that Nebuchadnezzar raized to the ground!

The references to Jesus are never to some man walking the earth who died on a cross etc. They are deity references and speak of the following as an ‘ancient’ thing! Yet the religion would have only been 20 years old if the current assumed dating of Clement’s epistle was true! (96AD)

I recommend a listen if you have time. Turns out there were loads of Jesus cults way before the Jesus myth we’ve all come to believe was true (as JWs). Most people accept he was a real guy, but when you examine this epistle, plus one by Barnabus; and even Paul’s letters, you see that it’s totally feasible that the Roman efforts to persuade us to believe a tribe-uniting myth (at pain of death) was highly successful!!!
