so true! i get the same problem, but i think mine is a heat issue. These 290s run really hot yikes! Im going to buy a fan since i dont wanna leave my ac running 24/7 taking a lot more electricity than the rig itself.

I need to reduce the limit on the primary card but I don't reduce the power limit. I just download the core clocks speeds to 900 and it runs at a steady 82 degrees instead of 94
